they destroy careers and permanently damage and ruin fighters. who become totally irrelevant after losing to the Klitschkos. want examples? calvin brock. chris byrd. brewster. ibragimov. thompson. austin. Arreola. Kingpin johnson. Rahman. Castillo. Gomez. Peter. Briggs. there are probably more.

they are too good. they are too destructive for the sport of boxing. Haye, Povetkin and Valuev are actually very smart to avoid getting in the ring with a Klitschko. one hour of beatdown from a Klitschko will brutally end a lifelong dream. a lifelong dedication to a sport.

    The Klitschkos are extraordinary champions.

Ironically, none of these guys had their careers ruined. Ibragimov retired after the Klit fight, but he hd been talking about doing so for at least a year before hand. A lot of these guys were never the same, but Byrd was already in decline (Wlad sure didn't "destroy" him the first time), Brock was hurt by Chambers, Brewster was hurt by Lyakovich, etc.

Besides, I really don't think that the danger to Briggs health here is anything to celebrate.

Not the best time to start a thread with this kind of subject matter...especially when, as far as I am aware, Briggs is still in intensive care.

Kingpin which you left out was never significant to begin with and he didnt sustain a single bruise after twelve rounds...

I guess you have Sam Peter but one could argue that McCline damaged him...

This is what happens when the top ten contenders won't face each other.Only the best of that bunch should be given a title fight. All they do is call out the Klitschko's out of ignorance and get wrecked.

Briggs career was pretty much over anyway already. Which is why Clitko gets no credit from me.
