Wlad's supposed jabjabgrab style is exaggerated!! Both Peter and Wlad did grab a lot during their rematch, but watch Wlad/chambers, Wlad/chagaev, Wlad/thompson etc, not a lot of grabbing.

The Purrity and Sanders losses were both never made up for. And to be honest, if Wladimir would have fought Sanders again, he would have been KOed again. Thats why he had big brother do it for him. To me, thats a b!tch move. To have other fighters sign contracts that make you fight "either" brother is ridiculous too. To jab and grab for 12 rounds and yet say that you are the baddest man on the planet is insane as well. Fighters are validated by the wars that they fight. Vitali quit on his stool once and when he fought an old Lewis, he lost. And almost had his entire face removed in the process. To me, that doesnt seem like championship behavior. Wladimir's losses were some of the worst and that is why he fights the way he does today, so that no one can get to that weak chin of his. To me thats whack. He doesnt have to KO every oponent but if you are fighting the Tony Thompsons of the world then you should KO these guys in 2-5 rounds at least. And the fact that an old Briggs lasted 12 rounds with Vitali is laughable. Lewis KOed that dude in his prime. Neither one of these fighters fight with any passion and they dont inspire the younger generation to box. To be great, you have to be willing to put yourself on the line and go for it, not jab and grab for the whole fight until your guy is all softened up. Thats the real reason these guys are not on HBO. Thats also the reason I dont think that they are that great of fighters either.

Since 2004 Wlad has fought 13 times, ko'ing 11 of the opponents, 2 decisions, he then ko'd peter in a second fight and Sultan hasn't fought again since his majority decision loss in 08 to Wlad, so what more can you ask for here? 85% ko record as current run as champ? Plus ko'ing one of the guys he decisioned in a rematch? Oh hell no this guy must suck. LOL. Please. Pizza time! When's the last time a HW champion did that? Seems to me Lewis had to regain his title twice after getting KTFO by Oliver McCall and Rahman. Guess we forgot about that. Chew Chew!

how can anybody be a fan of these boring, jab, jab right hand robots is beyond me. their fights last close to 12 rounds, are boring, and are totally one sided because they refuse to take risks. i would rather watch chris arreola, or someone like that since they always bring exciting fights
