Valuev should make this fight happen himself if he wants any credibility.

Even if (when) he loses it'll be better for him than not fighting them.

But I suppose he'll make more money dodging them.

Valuev is pretty close to retirement. He has no intention of going "out on his shield".
Keep in mind his age is very deceiving. At 35, a normal sized heavyweight is considered to be in his prime. At just over 7 feet, Niko Valuev is a little too long in the tooth to take serious competition. People with his condition don't have the same life expectancy. Look at the life span of Andre the Giant. He suffered from Acromegaly as well and died at the age of 46.

For example, look how slow and inactive Niko looked against old Holyfield. Valuev would have dusted the old man just 3 years ago.

His days are numbered as a prizefighter.

He is not a legitimate champion in the slightest, and he and his team know he would lose.

I'll be happy when he retires and his worthless interim belt gets passed to someone else

Failing to accept a 50/50 split by the "K" brothers tells the whole story about Nick Valubum altogether.... Team Valubum knows their hulking stiff has NO CHANCE at all at beating a "K" brother in the ring....... STILL! 50% of the take has got to be worth 15 to 20 million dollars for such a fight........ WTF???

    MR.BILL

"Klitschko-Valubum" would be a PPV event in the States, as long as the undercard was worthy.....

That's no surprise to me. Don KIng doesn't want to lose his tiny little piece of the HW Championship.

    Why should ValueLESS fight them...???

The WBA Title might be a joke, but so are the other 3 held by the "co-champions."

One division-One champion. If one KLIT would go away, I would lobby harder than any here for ValueLESS vs KLiT.

This tag team sh*t is a big problem in the HW division.

This is pathetic. How long will Sauerland and King protect their fraud?

A 50/50 split in Germany would be a HUGE payday for Valuev certainly his biggest ever.

At least Chagaev said yesterday if he beats Valuev he will fight either Klitschko in 2009.

Some of you guys are far too harsh on Valuev. He isnt the one who calls the shots.Don King is still his co-promoter.
I guess he still has options on him-at least for the next few fights.I may be wrong but I think that Sauerland,Valuev's German promoter, isnt that keen on sharing the huge money ,he can make by staging Valuev vs one of the Klitschko brothers ,with Don King.
Money is the name of this game.
Valuev cant speak English nor German. I bet my house that he hadnt had any clue whom he was going to face before he shared the ring with someone like Larry Donald.
He had been fighting on small fight cards around the globe before he signed a contract with Sauerland. Now is the time to harvest.Damn! Sauerland probably counts the seconds till Don King is out of the picture.

People like don king are corrosive to the sport. They protect the **** out of their fighters. They rather he spend the rest of his career fighting people like ruiz

Just on a side issue does anyone know the outcome of the Valuev-Holyfield investigation. If there wasn't 2 crocked judges we wouldn't even have this thread!

That is amazing, especially seeing as how the Klitschko would be the big draw of the fight.

But, as has been said, I don't think its Valuev, himself, who is responsible for refusing this. His handlers and King know he'll get beaten so they won't risk it.

I think the K brothers ought to go public with Valuev's refusal to unify. Make it widely known that he's refusing a fair, 50/50 split on a unification fight. Make King and Valuev's handlers look like big talkers who are all talk, and nothing more when the offer comes.... LOL...... Shame them into it.
