David Haye has reinvigorated the heavyweight scene. The Klitschkos might be decent fighter but lets face facts, they`re both as dull as dish water. Haye is Mr Charisma and which ever guy faces him will be getting career best purse. They should be throwing themselves to their knees in supplication of David Haye!!

The Klitschkos already make a fortune fighting in Germany. I don't think having Haye as an opponent will increase their pay much.

That seems to be a popular misconception around here about big fights. You see, when a fighter has already maxed out their revenue stream, adding another big fighter won't bring in any more money, at most definitely not a doubling. You see, there is cross over among fans. A Guy who would watch both will not be paying twice! So the marginal rate of return is not necessarily a constant function. That said...let's get it on!

The Hayemaker against one of those Klitschkos could fill the new Wembley or the Millienium stadium.

Haye has got international appeal. Mr Excitment,I told you. The Klitschkos are big.............in Germany. Hell Valuev had a big following there. I swear if you stuck a pair of gloves on a Weimaraner, call him champ you`d draw 10,000 in Berlin. :D

partially because he wasn't fighting a klitschko. also he's getting a bit overrated in terms of popularity and selling power (which sucks cause we need him). He's a big name though, some non boxing fans know him which is always great but i don't think he's all that charismatic. loud to be sure, but not really oozing charisma

He was really lightning in a bottle in there versus valuev. The lowest amount of total punches landed in a heavyweight boxing match in history.

Yeah that's why they had to give away tickets at O2 for a cruiserweight unification. That's why his last fight was in a 8000 seat arena for his big heavyweight title fight. That's why he claimed he could get Chelsea and sell it out, just to back out and blame it on the economic crisis.

The guy is not the draw he thinks he is.

Klitschkos routinely sell out their fights within the first week tix go on sale. Wlad packed 65K into Schalke Stadium against Chagaev, nearly no one wanted their money back when Haye pulled out of that fight. Klitschko was clearly the draw, as usual.

The have no international appeal. What`s the biggest crowd they`ve fought in front off outside Germany??

I have never seen a more boring fight than Haye/Valuev. He threw literally 11.9 punches a round. It was atrocious and awful. The Ruiz fight is going to be just as boring if not worse.

Ruiz is a smaller fighter. This will be a way better fight. I expect Haye to decapitate him.
