He wanted the fight and the belt. He got both. Well played Haye I say. He`s in an even stronger bargaining position now.

How? Valuev/Haye was in an 8,000 seat arena. About the same amount of people showed up to watch Haye fight Barrett in his home country. Haye is no draw.

The Klitschko's fight in venues twice that size that are sold out. :deal

This is the very definition of a premature post. The only way this becomes a major event (anywhere outside of the UK) is if Haye is able to proves that he can sell out a major arena on his own. Last time I checked, his biggest headlining event was a complete failure. He sold fewer than 6,000 seat at the O2 arena when he came up to heavy and beat Barrett. Both Klitschkos have sold out 20,000-50,000 seat arenas. Haye must prove that he can headline a big card, or he must bring a major television network, like Showtime or HBO to the table. Otherwise, asking for a 50/50 split is utterly preposterous.

Valuev Holyfield looked like Calzaghe Lacy to you? :huh

And you actually believe that there's nothing between running and standing and trading? :huh

My bet...you don't know what you're talking about. The last two Klitschko fights were record setters. Whether or not you deem them boring is totally inconsequential. Vitali had the highest rated fight of the year on HBO against Arreola. Wlad sold out a 60,000 seat arena against Chagaev. Both fights were carried on cable in America. When exactly has Haye done in terms of ratings? The answer is nothing. We'll have to wait and see if he is a draw. If he is, great...then we'll get a real unification. But right now Haye has not proven that he is a draw. Just because you like his press conferences and you think he's charismatic means nothing. PS That last fight was **** on a stick. :good

    Your funny dude.

Haye does have charisma but the Klitschkos dont need him at all.

First of all the Klitschkos are't just a big draw in Germany but in eastern Europe including Russia and they are not doing bad in the US either, yes there is TV and boxing fans outside the US,UK and Germany .

Second almost no casual boxing fan outside the Uk knows him at all and beating Valuev(one of the worst champs ever) in one of the most boring and awful HW fights ever doesnt make him a big draw at all :think

Valuev is so slow and sloppy it almost hurt to see Haye running and staying away all the time the only thing that makes him a draw is his mouth cause people want it shut.

It's something but after the Valuev fight, who wants to see him boxing again, as a casual fan (not from the UK) you surely wouldnt.

Now as a Champ he can make a Name for himself fighting good HW's but lets face it his netxt fights, Ruiz :yep and then Valuev again:rofl , thats not material to build yourself a legacy and who knows when he will be done with these to fights maybe in 2 years...............
