My views on Vitali-Lewis fight are fairly well documented on this forum. I can deny Lewis that victory and for good reasons. You have your asterisks and I have mine.

 

Disagreeing with a decision result is fine.

Here is my two cents:

Wlad vs Lewis: Wlad gets whiped out. Lewis over all tougher and meaner. Perhaps the best h2h HW of all times.

Vitali vs Lewis: Already tested. Vitali out toughed and stopped in brutal fashion. Would have been even worse prime for prime.

Wlad vs Tyson: Wlad probably gets whiped out. Never looked any good in a dog fight.

Vitali vs Tyson: competitive. Would give a slight edge to Vitali. Tyson would be tagged all night and lose rounds. If Vitali survives the first rounds, Tyson will gas.

Wlad vs Ali: I'd give the edge to Wlad in this one. The reach advantage matters and Alis defence was never that hot. Ali never fought someone as technically sound as Wlad. No stoppage or KO, though. UD more likely.

Vitali vs Ali: 60/40 in Alis favour. Vitali is crude compared with his brother and cant deal with Alis speed.

Wlad vs Frazier. "One Eye" stopped. Wlad keeps his distance and punish him in big style until the compassion on the ref saves Frazier.

Vitali vs Frazier: "One Eye" lose by UD. Gets outworked, outsmarted, outlanked.

Wlad vs Marciano:

Wlad vs Foreman: Unsure. Have not seen enough of his fights.

In my view, the initial cut was caused by an illegal punch. They did not call it but it is visible on the replay. It is a common mistake to assume that only headbutts can cause accidental injuries. The ref let it continue and obviously cuts never get better in the course of the fight. Despite the injury advantage Lewis failed to close the fight by the time of stoppage. It is in the rules - in case of accidental injury they can let the fight continue but if later stopped it goes to the cards.
