Most of the ATG boxers left legacies so rich they influenced those coming after them.
As they say, "imitation is the highest form of flattery", and in boxing, many next generation boxers are influenced by the ATG of the past.

Many fighters have been influenced by Joe Louis's punching technique and watch his fights practising his left hook and footwork.

Ali has influenced so many fighters who came after him from Sugar Ray Leonard, Larry Holmes, Michael Nunn, Lennox Lewis, and even Vitali Klitscho. Ali's sharp jab, ring movement, Ali shuffle and personality may be the most imitated of all recent boxers.

Joe Frazier's Bob and weave and left hook has been imitated by many wannabe power punchers in the sport. Mike Tyson may be the most effective boxer since Frazier that I've seen deploy this technique to get inside and deliver thunderous left hooks and uppercuts.

What boxing techniques deployed by the Klitschos do you think are or will be imitated by future generations of boxer? :bbb

Not the short boxers, that's for sure. Every tall boxer with the tools who wants to play it safe rather than risk too much will probably try to emulate some of the stuff Wladimir has been doing throughout his career.

I've been attempting to detect something, anything unique in the Klitscho styles, but so far, nothing.
Is this the real reason they are ignored by the American boxing fan base? That they display nothing new or improved in their technique?

Agreed, with the above addition, although I'm not convinced this is a Klitscho technique versus one taught to the Klitschos by Emmanuel Stewart.:smoke

    I can hear Stewart in training;
"NO, Vlad. Stop bending over and stand straight and pop your jab while moving your head. Move your head, damnit! I said move your head. OK, so you can't move your head. Just keep snapping out your jab and move backward. Don't give up your height. That's your greatest asset."

LOL, so much for their ATG status. Seems they have contributed nothing to the sport. Even their die hard fans can't invent anything.

Vitali - His effective awkwardness. Leaving his guard down by his waist and bending out of the way of a punch and countering.

Wlad - Each of his signature punches can be labeled as one of the best. Jab, left hook and straight right. Fast and powerful.

IMHO, neither of these are unique to either Klitscho, and neither of them can say they perform it better than the previous fighters who used them such as what you mentioned for Vitali; Roy Jones, and for Vlad; Lennox Lewis.

When next generation boxers use either of these techniques it won't be because they have studied and are initiating the Klitschos. :verysad

Wlad is the least creative and most one dimensional HW champ of all time. How can he invent something when he doesn't even have full command of all the tools and techniques available to him.

Wlad is an example of whats wrong with boxing, not whats right with it.

The effectiveness of breaking an opponent down with a superb jab.

Wlad really does it the best.

He hooks off the jab the best as well, for a HW.

Did Pulev say that Vitali was his inspiration, like Vitali says about Ali?
