I too think has never been the same after Tszyu knocked him out in two rounds. Yet, Zab beat Mayweather over four rounds and lost the rest but went the distance, it took Cotto eleven rounds to stop him even.

It does not matter who was there at the time Tszyu fought at 140, he would have fought ANYBODY! That alone deserves merit.

Well he isn't and ATG.. At least defiantly not on a resume. I think he had to tools to be one if not for being, avoided, too much risk to little reward, foreign fighter that no one wanted to fight.

Tszyu resume is thin, no doubt about that. But pointing that out wont change the minds of millions of experts and historians who give him respect that other fighters can only dream of.
I'm just saying to everyone else who is pissed about Tszyu being rated so highly.. If I was you Id find another guy to hate. You're going against a crowd and he is fighter u dont wanna down grade. And fact that he is inducted into hall of fame in first year of his eligibilty is a statement to how respected he is.

Hell u can make a case for Naseem Hamed being way more worthy to be inducted this year..... But it dont work like that.
So again, if I was u guys.. Id simply find a easier guy to hate.

i'm gonna be hella honest with you bro...i hate the fact that he gets so much ****en praise for beating an old ass chavez by the same guys that call chavez a quitter, yet forget that kostya quit on his ****en stool....

i can pick on many guys, you're right...but his fans urk the **** outta me with that ****....add the fact that he really doesn't have a great resume, and for me, he's easy to pick apart......i did enjoy watching him fight though

:think You lost me here, Andrey.

Tszyu's resume is definitely not great but it is good.

Naseem Hamed being way more worthy? :nono I agree that Hamed should be inducted soon based on his accomplishments and resume. For christ sake, Bobby Chacon was inducted in the 1st year he was put on the ballot.

It's good that you are honest about this.

The problem is that it makes so many of your posts about Kostya seem really, really bitter.

Your target audience, the ones you are wanting to convince, seem to be a really small one.

Everyone else reads your posts and wonders what the hell your problem is.

Thanks. I pretty much knew what was going to come, and this is what I had in my head too.

I ****ing hate people that say "look at this resume" - and then forget to put that, you know, the guy actually lost.

If you go down that path, somebody like Ross Purrity or another career "opponent" has probably got the best heavyweight "resume" in history.

Did I say Tszyu was better than Mosley? I said "is Mosley considered a great". Because I knew somebody would say "ofcoursehe****ingiswhatdoyouknowhaveyoueverwatchedboxingohmy****inggod"

And then I'd pull his "resume" apart like that, throw in the admitted PED usage, and say "well, if Mosleys great, Kostya's a ****ing legend".

My point was, you can make any fighters record look like **** if you really want to.

Who do I think would have won at 140 between the 2? don't know, would have been a great fight.

I do know one guy didn't go anywhere near 140 when Tszyu was in there, instead jumping up for money and losing more often than not.

I'll add one more question, and I genuinly have no idea of the answer. How many Non us fighters did Mosley fight, outside of the US?

(I want to say that I have nothing against Mosley, just trying to make a point using somebody from a similar era and weightclass that seems to be considered "great")

Tszyu was a good world champion but definately overrated by some. His best win is Zab Judah and he also lost to Vince Phillips in Tszyu's prime.

Ask Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya if they thought he was great.

I'm a KT fan, and I don't care if other people consider him great or not, what counts to me is the excitement he brought inside the ring.
