I'm thinking that if LaMotta could get to Ray ,Langford could too. Since guys back then fought each other so often I'd be confident in Sam getting a win in 3 bouts with Robinson.

Last night I watched some Ray Robinson fights and highlights,,,he's the greatest pound for pound fighter in history. Robinson beats Langford anytime under 160 pounds.
At MW Langford should beat SRR more times than not. He's way too powerful for even as durable WW as Ray. Langford was also good enough boxer to make it conpetitive on judges cards before the stoppage. SRR is top 5 P4P fighter ever and absolutd marvel, but Langford is a bridge too wide for him to overcome.
