The last Boxer to beat 3 Olympic Gold Medallists?

I think we're just about done here. The following heavyweight champs have beaten more Olympic gold medalists than AJ:

Muhammad Ali: 4-plus. The 4: Floyd Patterson, Smokin' Joe Frazier, George Foreman & Leon Spinks. The plus: Beating Smokin' Joe a second time.

Iron Mike Tyson: 3-plus. The 3: Tyrell Biggs, Michael Spinks & Henry Tillman. The plus: Beating the son of an Olympic gold medalist.

Real Deal Holyfield: 3-plus. The 3: Henry Tillman, George Foreman & Ray Mercer. The pluses: A draw with Lennox Lewis & a win over an Olympic silver medalist.

Larry Holmes: 3-plus. The 3: Muhammad Ali, Leon Spinks & Ray Mercer. The plus: Beating the son of an Olympic gold medalist.

Wladimir Klitschko: 2-plus. The 2: Ray Mercer & Alexander Povetkin. The pluses: Wins over numerous Olympic silver medalists.

Lennox Lewis: 2-plus. The 2: Tyrell Biggs & Ray Mercer. The plus: A win over an Olympic silver medalist.

Shannon Briggs: 2-plus. The 2: George Foreman & Ray Mercer. The plus: Knocking Wlad off a paddle-board.

AJ has two wins against Olympic gold medalists which narrowly places him ahead of Deontay Wilder with one.

AJ will need to make sure Deontay doesn't spark him out & draw level with him should they fight. Maybe that concern has been holding up negotiations for their fight?

 

Of course, there's more to achieving greatness than beating Olympic gold medalists.
