I don't think that any of the men who Haye has faced at heavyweight would prove to be much of a problem for Wlad, and that includes Valuev.

SNV could beat Wlad. It's just a styles thing. Wlad is all about being the bigger man, controlling the distance and clinching. Against SNV he'd need lateral movement and the ability to duck...things he does not do normally.
Perhaps Wlad could come up with a new game plan for a giant like SNV. Wlad a skiled guy. But there's nothing in his past fights to indicate he can fight well being at such a size disadvantage.

Granted SNV is an all time great, but Wladimir would seriously smash on him. Where Haye had him hurt Wladimir will put him to sleep.

McCline, Austin were so much easier for Wlad than Ibragimov. Tall fighters who are easy to hit are easy KO victims for Wlad and Valuev has never ever felt anything remotely close to Wlad's 1 - 2

Styles make fights only when the level of ability is somewhere on a similar level, when the gulf is too big, styles are not a factor.

But McCline and Austin were not bigger than Wlad. They were about the same size. SNV is noticeably larger. Tony Thompson, who lets be honest, completely sucks balls, was able to hang in there with Wlad for a while based purely on being big enough. To beat SNV, Wlad would either need to go right after him and bang (he doesn't do that) or he'd need to play cat and mouse, but he's not good at that either. The jab and grab won't work. He'd be there to be hit, and when he gets hit he tends to go down. As I said before, It's possible that he could come up with some new tricks, he's a smart guy. But nothing from past fights shows him using the tools needed to deal with a colossus.

Pre-prime Wlad ****ed up a prime Barrett, so you can imagine what he'd do to old Barrett

Valuev has little or no chance against Wlad, and the big difference would be that Wlad would win that fight convincingly and probably make a mess of Valuev in the process

Wlad against old Ruiz would be much like Wlad against old Rahman. He'd cruise to an easy win

Wlad would have KO1'd Harrison, because he wouldn't be making bets before the fight since he's a professional

Do you seriously believe Wlad would've KO'd Harrison. Harrison would have probably made the distance with Wlad as Wlad never opens up enough to put someone away early he just jabs you to death until you have nothing left with that being said Wlad would have put a much worse beating on Harrison because of the amounts of Jabs he would have hit Harrison with but Wlad doesn't go for the KO the way Haye does?

The only reason Valuev wins fights is because he is a giant with granite chin. Valuev has no skill. True wlad does go down when fights punchers but Valuev is feather fisted and has slow punch and foot speed. It would be an easy night for Wlad no question about it.

Wlad does not open up against skilled fighters. Most of Wlad's fights early in his career ended in 1-2 rounds. The most recent bum he faced was ray Austin and he knocked him out in 2 rounds. I bet Ray Austin being bum that he is could still beat Harrison.
