I'd like AJ to win but I just ca't find a reason to favour him. He might step up and look spectacular but, until I see it, I won't believe it.

He hasn't been in deep waters and his style seems to play into Wlad's stengths, assuming Wlad can still pull the trigger. A lot of people think he can't because of the Fury fight but it's dangerous to draw that conclusion when he was facing someone so awkward, who also had physical advantages.

    I think Wlad takes this.

OK......Where do I send the check? Excellent piece. Got to go with Klitschko with a ko over Joshua. By round 7. Father time is the hardest opponent to beat though. However, Klitschko stays at the top of condition so I don't believe he is shot at all. Nonetheless, I will be watching the fight on the edge of my seat and take no breaks until it is over.

If you re-watch the fight you can actually see the precise moment where Whyte's should goes and he can't throw anymore. Even Whyte, with his limited skill would have stopped Joshua right there had his shoulder not gone.

Im leaning towards AJ but its a fight I think none of us boxingheads should be too suprised no matter what happens. Wlad could stop AJ in the first and it wouldnt suprise me all that much. That being said, been leaning towards AJ the entire building for a few reasons, but now that its fight week and Im watching their training, I am starting to wonder if, if, Wlad is concentrating on trying to be 'quick' with his punches in there.... if his underrated speed just might be AJ's undoing. So I am starting to get second thoughts about my AJ pick.... but, Im thinking how they look in training isnt going to matter so much once a round or two go by and they settle into their instincts more, in which I favor AJ landing something that causes the ref to stop the fight somewhere in the mid rounds. If he doesnt stop him mid, I think he will win a decision (either by hook or by crook). But I can see how Wlad could win the fight as well.... so wont be betting on this fight. What a great matchup (imo).

Am so pumped for this damn fight and I probably wont even be able to see it live. Will be relying on you guys in the round by rounds!

This fight will be on USTV and it won't be PPV in America.................this fight is much bigger than El Pollo/Chavez...............very difficult negotiations between HBO and Showtime, finally coming to an agreement and the fans won!!!!!!! I felt that Vlad could win this fight, since he totally outclassed Joshua in sparring not too long ago, but after seeing the workouts today and today's interview with Vitali, I feel confident that Vlad will out box Joshua. If you haven't seen Vitali's latest interview, find it and read it, or watch the video...........Watch Vlad's footwork, his balance, his lateral movement, head movement, hand speed.................he will set Joshua up and knock him out................nothing is 100% in boxing, but I am thinking a TKO or KO, perhaps early? Vlad knows something...................

Your approach is the correct one. The fight game is complex with a lot of factors beyond "OMG Tyson kills him lulz!KO1!!!" to consider. A lot of the fighters are much more closely matched than their results would indicate, and there's lots to think about.
