Yeah I expect Gurov would last about 60 seconds aswell, wlad's got 40lbs and 3 inches on him for starters, and he's a better boxer anyway, but that's not my point. I'm not saying Gurov is anything like as good as Wlad. He obviously isn't. What I'm saying is they fight with a very similar style, a product of the eastern european amatuer system, and that kind of style is PERFECT for Haye.
..what I'm saying is just because two guys are from the Ukraine doesn't make them the same guy.. Thread starter is a grade-A idiot.
lol. i didn't mention wlad and especially didn't say he was anything like gurov. all i did was post a video of haye's last fight against a ukrainian and waited for a reaction. for the record i think wlad is the overwhelming favourite in the upcoming fight although i'll be hoping haye does a gurov on him (as incredibly unlikely as that is). btw lol @ the vitali klit post
Seems, someone likes trolling by making international quarrels. I'll help you: Gurov had already beaten Wlad, when they were amateurs... However, i think Wlad will easily beat Haye by Ko in early rounds.
Gurov is a southpaw. He had some pop in the left hand himself. Haye managed to land first. But Haye wasn't the first man to stop Gurov in first round.
Like Haye slipped everything that Mormeck threw or even Barrett, hell Barrett was outjabbing Haye at times and Monte was shot to ****. Haye's speed is very overated. Infact Haye is the most overated fighter on this board at the moment.
Despite that fight Gurov was decent fighter with good amateurs career, in his fight with Mormeck for WBA belt i had him above on scorecards before Mormeck koed him. Gurov had good boxing skills and punch power, but also he had glass jaw and that's not some secret.
