    Hagler was a very private gentleman but he was one of Drayton biggest supporters and had predicted Drayton would eventually become World Champ and was ringside in 86 when Drayton won the title via dec over IBF Champ Carlos Santos.

    I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. Drayton was a tough guy, and it makes sense sparring Hagler would have made him better.
