When I looked at the score cards I was thinking "okay so Stevenson was losing a MD" 5-5 fine, 6-4 Gvosdyk also fine. 8-2 gvosdyk?!?! Insane and away form home even... I looked a day later, and realised Stevenson was up! which was still 5-5 Fine. 6-4 Stevenson hmm a bit of a stretch but not insane. 8-2 ????

 

I think it was a fairly close round with Stevenson hurting Gvosdyk in the 10th but Gvosdyk landed a few shots near the end. going into round 11 Stevenson had nothing left at all, and gvosdyk fighting a little scared to avoid getting knocked out In a close fight had a full gas tank. It's funny that everyone his entire career said Stevenson had the worst chin in boxing... but it took 30 unanswered punches from one of the hardest punchers to put him down.

 

Did this guy **** young girls? What's the story...

 

he had sex with a 16 year old girl when he was 18. the age of consent in Canada was 14 at the time. in some states the age of consent in 18. but Canada is it's own separate country. He did do a lot of bad things in his life but people added other things to make him seem worse. they did the same to the OJ simpson trial and that's how he got off, they used fake evidence to make him seem worse... even though AJ clearly killed his wife it somehow wasn't enough.

Stevenson was arrested for assault. he was a pimp which is still legal in Canada to run an escort service as long as it's in a private manner. but he beat up girls that's what he got charged of, that's why he did 18 months in Jail. it's not the "**** isn't a big crime in Canada" theory I see going around. If you have a DUI in Canada you can't leave the country or enter the country. laws are strict.

 

Gvozdyk isn’t one of the hardest punchers and stevenson’s chin was ok.

 

Two back to back tough fights I believe took affect. He took some punishment from Badu Jack before his fight with Gvosdyk too.

I followed the trial: all the evidence presented against OJ was genuine.
He got off because he was a black celebrity with deep pockets playing the race card in America .

 

Boxing must be morally correct because the prophet Paul of the Bible was a boxer as mentioned in Corinthians!
