    This is not accurate.

    I'm not saying that the smaller gloves have no impact. I've seen others try to make that argument, because of some sort of impact measuring devise showing that the gloves make no difference. That is nonsense. The density of the object has an effect. If someone hits you with a half pound pillow with same force as someone hitting you with a half pound rock, the damage will be different.

    What I'm saying is that boxers defend against punches. Boxers learn to avoid heavy impact. Whether it be avoiding a shot, or riding one out, boxers learn to avoid penetrating blows. There are exceptions, like Tex Cobb and George Chuvalo, but many are finished when an opponent lands a penetrating blow.

    I'm looking at ways the sport could be improved for the fans and the fighters. What are you doing? Do you think the sport needs you to prop it up and defend it or it would collapse in to oblivion.

    It will go into oblivion if the does not evolve.

    You think it needs to evolve because you aren't enjoying it.
