How about, in order to avoid offending anybodies sensibilities, we change the title to who maximized their physical advantages to the greatest extent.

The answer to that question is Ricardo Lopez. Flea knows.

the thread title implies no derogation at all!

If you have a list of 4 men all over 6.5 ft and you ask "who is the least tall man" you don't imply any of them are short.

here we have a list of 4 asking "who is the least skilled" again there's no implication any of them are without skill.

stop being pussies and just debate the topic and as it is I'm going Collins :good

I take exception to that. I think you mean to imply that Lopez had no inside game.:yep;)

Far from it. Did Hakeem Olajuwon need a three point shot? Did Bjorn Borg need a tremendous meet game? Did a Jayne Mansfield need to be able to act? It is foolish for a wolf to pretend to be a dog, and it was unnecessary for Lopez to fight inside.

    I was just kiddin' ya.

(But now I take issue with you putting down the acting talents of ATG Jayne Mansfield)

This may be the only time in the history of the English language that 'ATG' and 'Jayne Mansfield' were in the same sentence without the word 'breast' being in there.

Gene Fullmer looked awkward and terribly clumsy in the ring but he got it done anyway with only six losses in close to sixty fights. His left jab was often referred to as looking like a school girl pitching a baseball. But it was effective. It worked in both Basilio fights and in the second Tiger fight. His awkwardness along with his extraordinary strength and toughness made him a formidable foe for the very best of the middleweights of the 50's and 60's or any other era for that matter.
