It's the day of his long awaited return and what or who is Danny Green talking about?

won't have anywhere left to hide, claiming a long-awaited rematch with the West Australian will soon be his only option for a high-profile fight.
Ahead of his return to the ring on Wednesday against Argentinean light-heavyweight Roberto Bolonti after a 33-month absence in a 10-round contest at Hisense Arena, Green took a verbal swipe at

prevailed when the pair met in a money-spinning super-middleweight bout in Sydney nine years ago, and Green, 42, said "round two" is his long-term plan for 2016.
    "I think

realises that all of the burrows that he's been crawling under to avoid me have been blocked," Green told AAP.
"Main Event don't want to see him fight, the people of Australia don't want to see him fight, and they've proven that with the numbers he's getting.
"He doesn't sell; he's got no room to move."

, the former IBO cruiserweight and WBA light-heavyweight world champion must first overcome durable journeyman Bolonti, who was only called in only last week when original opponent Tamas Kovacs suffered a neck injury.
The 36-year-old has not been stopped in any of his 39 bouts and has 36 wins to his name.
Two of those losses came against against Britain's Tony Bellew and German world champion Juergen Braehmar for the WBA light-heavyweight title.
Green said his plan was to avoid getting enticed into a brawl with the heavy-handed Bolonti.
"I don't want to get punched, my nose is crooked enough," he said.
"One thing I've been working a lot on is defence and movement and not getting tagged''.

:patsch And he's fighting him at 12lb higher than he's ever fought before and jetlagged.
    The circus rolls on.

    Dumbarxse quote of the year:

"Main Event don't want to see him fight, the people of Australia don't want to see him fight, and they've proven that with the numbers he's getting.
"He doesn't sell; he's got no room to move."

Quite simply put, Green was a nobody until he and Fenech chased him around like a gilted lover begging for a fight.

Mundine must be the only boxer in history to have every single fight on Main Event........... Somebody must be watching....lol

He did it for all the fans because he came from the land down under was one of a number of vomit producing quotes... Lol

So did anybody watch the circus last night? I heard the canine Green won a boring UD against the Bolonti kid. Did the 86Kg Green call out the 70Kg Mundine after the fight? Did he sing hey true blue or the land down under?

So if Bolonti beats him, does he himself become a legend.

    Ozzie TV logic would dictate...yes

This is the type of BS the Aussie media puts out, that is why many bogan fans actually think that Green is a HOF legend

Yep, I streamed it...just because I was curious to see how he would be after a lay off. Again.

It wasn't a bad fight by Green. Was very tight and needed to relax in the first 4 rounds. He loosened up and picked Bolonti as he wished. I was reasonably impressed with his performance as a +40 year old and coming back after 3 years.

    However...

He is a dirty sob. I never really followed Green throughout his earlier career up until about 5 years ago. But man...this dude with his bloody head and holding. He makes for some messy fighting.

Bolonti was a worthless opponent imo. He was lazy. Only tried to land the occasional bomb. Even then it was thrown with no great intent and he was very very one dimensional.

Green fought smart but as I have come to realise, he is a guy with talent even at 42 years old? but, unless he is fighting against someone who can keep him off them to avoid the annoying rough housing, he is quite hard to watch. It was essentially Green Vs Cameron 2.0 last night.

I would like to see him fight Choc again. I dislike both of the fighters as people, but Choc is another level of douchebag.

Would be a good fight to watch at the right weight. I would have to favour Green though, even after 3 years out of the game.

    Just my 2 cents.

I just read Ray Wheatly's report on the fight

He is quoting the promoter who compared Green to Bernard Hopkins  and said he followed the game plan of the Professor Angelo Hyder  Fukn LOL WTF :rofl

Also. Im sorry, but Australian commentators are the fxxxxxxxxxxking WORST. Holy ****. I have watched many Aus/Kiwi fights with them broadcasting, but they are getting soooo much worse. They are the most biased, agenda driven commentators in the world. Seriously.

They were blowing Bolonti up to be the next Sugar Ray Robinson. It was quite embarrassing really.

No wonder so many Australian sporting events are fixed. I know NZ is not a whole lot better (Duco events fiasco's). I dont know how you Aussies can put up with listening to it...
