Look what Leonard did with Duran in the first fight, even in losing to Duran by trading. Leonard's probably best match up in history is Pacquiao.

WW pac is a specimen in his own right.

He gets written off for being current, like floyd and other fighters do.

I think Pac would be competitive with any WW in history, but not able to go in and 'angle up' guys like pryor or robinson, but he gives them good tough fights.

Manny is an ATG, but not an ATG welter.

 

Leonard is too big! He was a career welter with his first fight at 141. 5'10, 74 inch reach, power, speed, skills. That is a mountain too hard to climb.

Pac started at 106 and probably his best weight would be 140 based on limited figts at that weight. 5'6", 67 inch reach.

However, pound for pound, Leonard would win but it would be a fight because Pac will bring it on losing or winning.

Even Mayweather can not win against SRL, considering that reachwise, sizewise, he is closer than Pac.
