SRL too big with too much going for him. TKO/KO in the late rounds.

I find it funny that one of the four gents voting Pac by decision has the screen name "CasualFan".

Are you assuming that Floyd Mayweather fans think that SRL would Lose to Manny Pacquiao? Benny, you and I have had our share of disagreements...But Seriously Man, you can't actually believe this...Can you?

OK SRL was great, but so is PAC. No way he murders him. He'll wind by UD in a Morales or Marquez style performance. But SRL struggled with plenty of fighters so I can't see him just walking through a potential ATG in PACMAN.

He does squeak out a decision but not by the murder that everyone is predicting.

Manny, is fast aggresive and can box now too.

This fight would be a mismatch on the level with the epic mismatches of all time. Don't mistake Sugar ****ing Ray Leonard, the undisputed welterweight champion of the world, for the part time fighter who beat Haglar. They're two different animals. Leonard would hurt Pac early, smell blood in the water, and inihilate him.

SRL at 147 was bigger, smarter, faster, hitter harder, had better defense, better footwork, better stamina, and the killer instinct of a freaking piranha. Pacman would not see the end of 5, and he would probably have nightmares for the rest of his life.

Love SRL much!!! SRL would win a tough decision. But Pac is a future ATG. Give me one example where SRL has destroyed a Prime ATG in the manner you have described.

I'll answer for you he hasn't. He has beat ATG's in tough wars, but not destroyed them.

ATG's like an ATG middleweight champion that no one has ever stopped in Hagler, future light heavyweight champion in Hearns...?...None of them used to be flyweight champions, or even super featherweight champions. Benitez, Hearns, these were big welterweights and Pacquiao gets the credit he gets partly from being very small for the weight class he's fighting at. Now, if Pacquiao goes on to do what Duran did and go the distance with middleweights and super middleweights and a few light heavyweights, then we'll talk about him not being finished by Leonard. Or if he develops Sweet Pea like defense out of nowhere.

Duran also went 6-11 post welter so it's not an maazing record. SRL had great pop. But Manny has a good chin. I just think it would resemble more a SRL Duran 2, where it would be close but SRL getting the better of him. IF SRL tried to fight more like on SRL-Duran 1, then Manny would have a chance.

    Leonard late TKO or decision.

Leonard beats everyone in and around 147lbs today. This thread has been done soooo many times...I literally don't know why I reply.

Leonard's too big, too strong, and too fast for Pacquiao. If Pacquiao was a natural Welter, I'm sure everyone wouldn't be thinking that this was a mismatch...but he's not.

In fact, even if he was a natural Welter, I'm sure I would still favour Leonard.
