Difficult to argue against Peak Duran the fighter of the 70s.

That seems about right. Fairly large gaps between 1-2-3 and then 3-4 are fairly close IMO.

I would rank them like this.
    4. Julio Cesar Chavez
    3. Floyd Mayweather
    2. Sugar Ray Leonard
    1. Roberto Duran

Thanks for sharing this picture. I'm always a fan of pictures showing greats from different eras hanging out.

I have it as Duran, Chavez, Leonard and Mayweather but I have to admit, you can make an argument for almost any order you choose. I will say this. I believe 1970s lightweight Duran is the best prime of any of these fighters.

Nah Duran came up and smashed your boy prime. Your guy had to rush the rematch knowing Duran would go on the **** and would be a wreck in the rematch.
Also your guy although an atg and a h2h nightmare he did start the tactical bs later refined by Floyd and Canelo for cherry picking and waiting for fighters to slow down before fighting them. Oh and he had a third of the fights Duran had due to "retirements"
Your entitled to your opinion I won't change it but Manos de Piedra is the Daddy.
