I envy you. The excitement must’ve been immense in the 80s!

 

It's everything the people say the 80's were. Awesome avatar by the way. John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN is the greatest movie of all time. The Shape lives!!

I was watching that the other week - great movie. One of the best horror movies ever.

 

What a picture. I doubt were have that class of fighters again.

 

You know it's kinda funny how certain eras or decades go in cycles. I remember the 90's bringing back bell bottoms and inspired by clothes from the 70's. And then the 2000's came around and our youth became 80's obsessed. It's 2021 and we're still obsessed with the 80's!!

Besides boxing, my other love has been horror films, especially the slasher sub-genre that HALLOWEEN sort of created. Speaking of 80's those movies were a staple for that decade for sure.

 

YESSS!!! Absolutely love the original HALLOWEEN and all the knockoffs like FRIDAY THE 13TH and Wes Craven's classic A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.

Hey did you get to see HALLOWEEN KILLS when it came out last month?

 

it's hard to put the Mayweather type figures in with sport's real legends, most of which were/are likable people or personalities.

but the smug, vain arrogant Mayweather types, are easy to dismiss, that is why SRL lost a lot of respect, because he became a vain, loved himself type person.

anyway, Floyd is a Legend and Great, but not a loveable one.
