His stoppage victory over Denton Vassell was far from laughable. It was accurate precise crisp punching. Doesn't punch as hard as the other 2 but doesn't waste much. The thing gavin lacks is his athleticism.

Whilst I agree with you, I think if someone posted Khan v Sugar Ray Robinson you'd pick Khan

    Khan
    Gavin
    Brook

    Khan beats both right now
Gavin beats Brook simply by outboxing him
Khan I believe would stop Brook

And the rest of them are legit? He;s hardly Julian Jackson.

Gavin could do with a PROPER dietitian. He is simply not a WW.

1 - Khan, seems to have settled well at welterweight which may benefit his punch resistance also fast and has great footwork.
2 - Brook, accurate and patient. Doesnt have a 1 punch Ko power but does pack a punch. I see him more of an lightmiddle weight.
3 - Gavin, great all round boxer but not special at any 1 particular thing apart from his ring IQ. Not had a tough hard fight that would convince me hes ready for Khan or Brook.

It's not far fetched as you're making it seem, khan unlike Brook and Gavin is blessed with two qualities [athleticism and speed], pretty much abilities that he was born with. Those two attributes are what set him apart from most boxers and played a big role in his success when he was with Roach. Since his loss to Garcia he's released that he can't keep relying on them. I also feel Gavin is the better technical boxer of the two. Gavin doesn't arm-punch like Khan, is more methodical in his approach and his footwork is better. Only recently has Khan show improvements in that aspect. In fact, it's only since being with Virgil that we've seen him rely a lot less on those attributes.

Like Khan, Gavin was a stand out amateur. However, his lack of dedication has cost him and as people like Khan were improving, his career stagnated. Should Gavin overcome Bundu he'll be moments away from making a splash in the division. Be great if Kell can beat Porter, three domestic match ups that should take place.

Eventually it will come to light that Khan is above both of them.

Khan kicking a man when he's down on twitter... not cool at all.

Amir has a short memory, once upon a time he starched inside a round as he was going through the levels.

    bundu > pressott

did anyone hear gavin blame a man in a hat ringside
    what about his trainer
    or his s+c
what about blaming he is killing himself to make weight
    what about blaming a ref
or even shitting on his promoter
totally dissmissing any fights that could be a threat where all the advantages are not in ones favour
billy where was you when all of this mental weakness was going on ?

It was uncalled for, considering there wasn't any bad blood between them. But everyone is overreacting, all he did was imply that Gavin isn't on his level, which most would agree that he isn't. He didn't tell him to crawl back into the hole where he came from or suggest his career is over.
