We are getting what we deserve this fall as boxing fans with the LHW's. They all believe in fighting the best. Andre Ward vs Sergey Kovalev (winner will be given P4P no.1 by Ring) Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs Isaac Chilemba (who did pretty well against Kovalev). Artur Beterbiev vs Isidro Prieto (big puncher, rough style, tough for a clean former amateur) Vycheslav Shabranskyy vs Sullivan Barrera (two tough fighters) Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Smith Jr. (farewell fight, Smith Jr. decapitated Fonfara) Dmitry Bivol vs some guy Obviously we have other fighters next year like Adonis Stevenson, Eleider Alvarez, Nathan Cleverly, Marcus Browne. GGG's situation at MW has been depressing. Tyson Fury relinquishing his hard earned titles hasn't exactly been great either, but LHW is pulling through.
Definitley one of the more exciting divisions. Really excited about the Shabransky-Barrera fight. Its just the icing on the cake having been recently announced. Hopefully Shabransky got this.
Usually in other divisions, fighters avoid fellow high risk-low reward fighters but this matchup just brings a good feeling to this division. I hope Shabranskyy pulls it out of the bag, too.
This fight is a nice step for Shabransky and a much needed comeback for Barrera who couldn't find a fight. Could you please update the thread with channels the fights are being broadcasted and dates? If you cannot thats fine too. I think Stevenson amd Alvarez are fighting this December also unless it got pushed back.
