Didn't read the original post but I'm sure it's because of some indestructible Eastern Europeans. ..

    Don't underestimats Fonfara

He looks like a tall giraffe necked goofball, but the guy is tough as nails

He was supposed to be dominated by Campillo and beheaded by Stevenson, yet he arguably won both fights

Fonfara be Beterbiev is a 50/50 fight

I knew he'd be a rough fight for Stevenson and I'm a fan of Fonfara, but Beterbiev is next level Fonfara wouldn't stand a chance, look at my thread on Beterbiev if you haven't already.

Lol I've been following Beterbiev since the 2012 Olympics, I probably know more about him than u do...

One thing that always stuck out to me from the Olympics was Teddy Atlas trying to pronounce his name, damn near gave himself an aneurysm "Artur Beterbababal'

I've been following since the Olympics as well:lol: so we're even. Teddy always sounds like he's on the verge of an aneurysm. He's taken too many shots in sparring.

Great thread CST80! The division seems to be really heating up.

Add Robin Krasniqi among the contenders, Dominic Boesel among the prospects.

I was thinking about doing a thread on Boesel the other day and I forgot about Krasniqi I'll add to the Flawed Contenders later.

There's also the Bulgarian kid Blagoy Naydenov who Gary Hyde signed recently too. He's supposed to be good. He was an under 19 world champion, under 17 European champ and the Youth Olympic champion as well.

'Irish boxing manager Gary Hyde added another boxing star to his stable. He signed a contract with 18-year-old Bulgarian light-heavyweight Blagoy Naydenov. The talent is World champion (U19) and European champion (U17). During the Summer he grabbed a gold medal from the strongest amateur boxing event on the planet for upcoming boxers Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.

“I was contacted by Gary Hyde after the World championships in April,” told Blagoy Naydenov. “The decision to turn pro wasn’t very tough one. The money are not enough in Olympic boxing.”

The professional debut of Naydenov is set for January. “I still don’t know if I will fight in Germany or in USA,” added Naydenov. “The initial plan is to make 5-6 fights per year.”

The Bulgarian was born in Sofia. He was part of Slavia boxing club, where years ago trained the last man who beat Floyd Mayweather – Serafim Todorov, and Olympic champion Daniel Petrov. Naydenov is very technical and fast boxer, who loves to fight from the outside, but never refuses exchanges from close stance.'

There's not enough footage of Blagoy to do a thread on him, but I'm keeping an eye out for some.
