In preparation for his fight against Berrio, Bute has been doing 2-hour long sessions to exhaustion. His trainer, Stephane Larouche, says that he was being broken down only to be rebuilt again. "By the time he steps into the ring against Berrio, he will be explosive, like a long-range missile." This content is protected On Saturday, Bute was still 4 kg too heavy...(typical for him). He is confident of easily making weight, though. Nice report Decebal! You're a real supporter! I've watched those few rounds vs Bika and Bute is a great boxer. Beatiful footwork, upper body movement, balance, head movement quick hands, can throw combos, solid jab. He can make some noise! Cheers!
I can't wait for this. I hope Bute will kick some ass. I would love to see him succeed and be a champ for a long time to come. WAR BUTE!!!:rasta
I hope Bute wins and becomes a Champ, too, of course...but I don't care about the belts/ titles... I just want Bute to become the best he can be and fight the best out there, win or lose, fighting a great fight! I don't think doing more would be possible; and certainly, it would be impossible to do more for boxing!:good
12000 tickets sold already...but cheaper tickets at CAD 75 and CAD 50 are still left! This should be a great fight. Undercard for This content is protected v. Bute is already a superstar in Montreal. If he can get a few good wins against good opposition, he'll become one. He's very charismatic.:rasta
I don't think so. There are at least 10 more talented fighters out there, in my opinion. But Bute is good and getting better, and I think he can become a very good boxer. If he keeps going for the best and he maintains the high morale that he has shown so far, he will be very good for boxing. This is all that matters, because everything else is not really up to him - you either have it or you don't.
Probably for the best, supernatural non-american's tend to get avoided. Just look at the bull**** that Joan Guzman has had to put up with, he has to face the other guy that nobody wants to fight despite deserving a title shot...:yep But the other guy, Soto also deserves a title shot. Pity, both are very good and one gets knocked out of the race instead of earning a title and having a cemented spot. Soto is not supernatural, but he's a class boxer and a warrior who's worked hard. Shame he has to fight a supernatural who's motivated.
