With Dirrell out of the tournament, I cannot see why Interbox/Bute aren't talking about a fight against HIM next, in March, assuming he is healthy by then. Why are they only talking Pavlik? Surely, a healthy and fit Dirrell would be a much better fight than Stieglitz or Sartison...

    ???

Why are we talking about Stieglitz when he already turned Bute down twice.
Sartison=Brinkley2 do you really want that?
Dirrell is has a damaged brain ... so he says.

I hope that I-box doesn't just look in Pavlik direction because Kelly is the one with the last word and i don't think he want to fight Bute!

I think Sartison and Mendy are unacceptable fights for Bute next.

Stieglitz is barely acceptable, but only if Bute REALLY cannot get Dirrell or Pavlik. Yeah, Dirrell is injured/damaged, but his career is not over, is it? Will he not recover in a two-three months enough to start training for a fight in March?

I agree. That's why I think they need to start talking about Dirrell as well, even if they are really aiming for Pavlik. It makes sense, tactically.

As a boxing fan, I'd rather Bute fought Dirrell, because I think he's better than Pavlik....

The doctors said 3 months without any symptom. But if it's for real it should be at least 1 year imho or could even sent him into retirement. Even if it's fake i think Dirrell will take a relaxation vacation and will plan carefully his career. You cant ask for Bute or his camp to believe that his faking it and try to negotiate with a guy who just couple of weeks ago announced that he has serious neurological problems.

Today article about Bute facing Mendy!

Bute's coach doesn't want to see Mendy in the same ring till he prove he diserve it! They say that it's really hard to sell seats when your opponent's have been K.O. in the first round of his last fight! They think that Bute can break Mendy career and maybe his will to fight forever! The IBF need to do something about it and gave Mendy a proper test before JP can get a shot at the belt!

Then they talk about Pavlik facing Vera fight because Ibox only talking about Kelly as a futur opponent !

Bute vs Pavlik will be far more exciting fight. There will be 2 bombers in the ring. Pavlik will hunt Bute pressure him and trying to get him whille Bute will try to keep Kelly away with jabs and combinations both looking for chances to end the fight. It will be a nice dance and some good exchanges.
Bute vs Dirrell will be like 100 m dash. Most of the punches out of balance plenty of dead moments because Bute is a counter puncher and Dirrell will not risk(in the first 3 rounds). It will be an awkward fight.

They need to state that they would like to face Dirrell if he is fit and healthy, and talk with the Dirrell camp every once in a while. That's all.

Bute should face Pavlik next. Then, he should try to get Dawson at 168. If he can't, he needs to drop that belt, unless he can face Froch, Abraham, Dirrell or Ward, and to go to 175 lbs and take on the best he can, including Dawson. One more fight against a Brinkley, Stieglitz or similar, and Bute will start becoming worse, nevermind the fact that he will no longer be a credible top-level operator!

They will never state something like that. You know if there will be any negotiations the rumors will start at the end of them. Specially now considering that Dirrell camp will try to keep them secret(at least until super six advances into the next stage). He did say he wants to fight everybody when asked about the super six.
