The problem again is that both AA & Froch, if I'm correct after the latest developments, are guaranteed a spot in the semis...win or lose.

The semis won't take place before possibly March 2011 if no injuries us sustained, therefore a fight with either losing semi-finalist could most likely only be summer of 2011 (July, August 2011).

I think the Pavlik option should be signed for March 2011 and then focus on the best available between Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Dirrell, Ward, Dawson or Pascal.

Bika is notsupposed to be in the tournament, so that leaves 5 fighters. Only one has to drop out and it will be the loser of the Green-Johnson fight. horrible option for Bute.

Glenn Johnson is Bute's regular 40 year old sparring partner...that would be brutal ! As for Green, well that would make every poster here give **** to Bute but I must admit I'd love to see Lucian knock him out ! :D If only he'd fight 3 or 4 times per year, then he could afford to have 1 or 2 such lower type fights in the year...as long as the other 2 were good quality !

You completely misunderstood. Hopkins refused 3 offers from Interbox to fight Bute, not the other way around!

Bute/Interbox would give their right arm to fight Hopkins, as they've said countless times, bute Hopkins continually refused. Hopkins at one point was supposed to have changed his mind, but in the end, he bailed out.

Fair enough. Then let's hope he can get Pavlik. Then, let's hope he fights Dawson at catchweight, having dropped the belt. There's nothing else out there. If he cannot get Pavlik, though, he should fight the winner of Pascal vs. Hopkins in March/April next year. No point hanging about fighting C to B- level guys at 168.

He can't legitimately anyway. Dirrell will get sued for breach of contract if he comes back too soon, and Kessler's been guaranteed a big money shot at the S6 winner that he's not going to want to risk. And now Pascal is tied up for the next 6 or 7 months because he's fighting Hopkins and then needs to rematch Dawson.

It kind of sucks, because it means it will be another year before he has a serious opponent, unless Pavlik's team decides to actually go ahead with a Bute fight.

I'm fully excpecting to see him fight Jean Paul Mendy next.

If he doesn't fight a good opponent next, he only has himself to blame. Dawson was out there for him and he didn't want it. Then, Pascal was out there for him and he didn't want it. He could even have fought Cloud, had he wanted it. But he wanted none of these guys, preferring to fight Miranda and Brinkley intead. Well, too bad.

You can`t take the money out of the equation.Interbox decides the men Bute fights, let be mature.Larouche made it clear Bute won`t fight higher than 168 until its clear in the category. It`s obviously tyhey want to take no risk in order to take the Super Six winner with the maximum of profit.Yes, it`s hard to find a match for him but it`s not his fault.

People its`s not who Bute takes, IT`S WHAT THE WAY INTERBOX CAN EXPLOIT AT MAXIMUM THE CASH COW.

Just have patience, cause this year will be Pavlik or Sartison or Stiegliz and a missmatch.

No he did want it, but Dawson went and got beat Pascal. Why would he move up to fight him now, if hes going to move up go for the champion.

Bute when he came back to romania he did a short press conference.

About Brinkley: "I heard that there were a lot of comments about Brinkley. He was a mandatory challenger. He earned the right to box against me. He is one of the best at super middleweigh(in the IBF rankings I assume he meant). I didn't asked for him and I-box didn't forced on me , but he fought for the right to box against me.From now on I'm gonna box with anybody. I'm gonna go in USA to box against any opponent , I have no problem with that.

About his opponents. I know there've been a lot of comments about the opponents who i box against to defend my title.I can't do nothing about it, there are very many who refuse me, I can't force them to accept or teach them how to box. This super six will end soon and I'll clean up the division.

About his future: I'm gonna stay 3 weeks in Romania. I gotta recharge my battery's , because 2011 is gonna be a very busy year. I'm gonna have 3 fights. First on 12th March. It's gonna be a very interesting year. One of my opponents could be Pavlik.

About Adrian Diaconu : He made the best match of his career. This win was very important to him , because he was disorientated. He wanted to retire after the two defeats against Jean Pascal (I know he wanted to quit in the Miami camp to, but Bute told him to not give up). I told him it's not the time to take such of decision yet, especially because he has a family to support . I told him to box at least a year more. In this fight i saw that he used his mind, he could've lost in the 2nd round , but he was smart. They all praised him for this victory.

I liked the way Diaconu react after being hit flush in the secound round! smart move! Adrain from 2 years ago would have turn mad and probably get stopped!

He gave the point and boxed smart the rest of that fight! Sheika eat is part of leather!
