I know exactly what you mean about Povetkin...there's this pick of him with Putin and Putin smiles proudly whilst Povetkin has that look upon his face that says: "I am having my pick taken again, dammit! Better get it over with quick!" He seems like a great guy, who loves his country very much! And I very much like the fact he keeps it so real at all times...great stuff!:happy Can't wait to see him against WK... ... That stoppage was, I think, 3-4 seconds within the limit... ...good things come to those who wait!:yep
And he's also one of the only Eastern European boxers who fights in Germany often but doesn't want to move there and have all his matches there. Wlad Klitschko only came back to Ukraine to fight one time and he got KO'ed by Ross Purrity. Fans in Ukraine want to see him fight there once again but he barely even goes back there at all, because there's more money in Germany.
Lucian Bute will be returning to Montreal on Monday, to start his preparations for his fight on the 29th of February.
I like the new avatar! Bute is lucky - he was made citizen of honour of his home town and was gifted a 150.000 euro appartment!:yep Still, everywhere he went in Romania, he mentioned how impressed and honoured he was by the officials in Montreal and by the affection of his hime fans! Everyone loves Bute!

Joe talks about Lucian a couple of days before the Mikkel fight. [yt]ICcseg9mucc&eurl[/yt] Thank you very much to PrideOfWales for this link!:good
Good news an bad news. Good news is that Bute is back in Montreal. Bad news is that he put on 9kg in the three weeks he spent in Romania. That would mean he is around: 84 +9 = 93 kg...at least! :scaredas:
He just became a world champion and he was going home. to country which doesn't have many hero's or much going for it, So let let his hair down a bit. Juses he must have had 5 course meals 3 time a day.:yep :yep
Yeah...it cannot be good for his heart though...1 pound a day for 3 weeks...on top of the weight he put on after the fight, in Montreal... he is only 27...he shouldn't put on as much weight in between fights as Joe does, for example.:-(
