What make's you think even if Bute want's the fight that Showtime will accept. Kessler is out there , will have a belt and the S6 winner will be out there so Dirrell is where he deserves to be after faking his way out. He's a good boxer but, you gotta pay for your mistakes.
You're ignorant and oblivious to the fact that Dirrell was blatantly fouled as he had slipped onto his knees against a monstrous puncher in Arthur Abraham. Mikkel Kessler can exercise his WBC Emeritus status and land a unification bout with the S6 winner, why would he fight Lucian Bute? Should he beat Stieglitz for that belt, he's quite simply guaranteed a fight for the WBC crown, and either Froch/Ward would be up for it. :good
I was talking in the ring. Smartass He could've won the Froch fight by showing a glimpse of desire for that Belt in his actions in the ring instead of holding, running and dropping on the floor
He could've won the fight had the judges seen the fight as most ringside observers/experts did. Andre Dirrell boxed good on the night. (I personally had him winning the fight by 1pt)
When you slip multiple time per fight something's wrong with you. Kessler can exercise my ass. S6 winner could easily relinquish the WBC title, he still got the WBA. And what did the dumbass say all the time?! " Title are meaningless " I think they used a more dumb word ... but can't remember right now. Showtime was all over Bute vs Kessler, and your boy backed out, don't think they forget that easily. Also don't forget that Showtime has an option for the first fight of the S6 winner.
I don't care if he won it on point. I myself would not have given the fight to a coward when the fight was that close and the Fighter didn't looked like he wanted the belt.
Sauerland wanted Kessler - Bute in Europe, whereas Bute and Interbox wanted it in Canada/Romania. They never came to terms, but Kessler had another option, and that was to fight Stieglitz for a portion of the SMW championship, and then exercise his WBC emeritus status, thus giving him an opportunity to unify the titles. Bute has no bargaining chip on the S6 winner, he will have to leave the comforts of his hometown to fight the winner, whereas Kessler will be a viable option who also has a title (AND IS WILLING TO FIGHT AWAY AS PREVIOUSLY PROVED). Kessler will unify regardless of Butes actions, and theres nothing that can be done about it.
Now will Froch or Ward chose to relinquish the WBC and fight for 2 belts, or fight Kessler for 3/4 belts? I'd imagine theres gonna be a fight for 3/4 belts in early 2012, between Kessler and the S6 winner.
Idiot that won't be an issue. Bute wanted to fight Pavlik in Vegas or AC but Pavlik wanted the fight in Canada, Montreal for financier reasons.Bute also agree to fight Froch in Nottingham before Froch got the offer to join the S6.
Pavlik is a drunk suffering from post-traumatic stress after Hopkins and Martinez put what little he had. Froch and Ward are proud champions who haven't lost in embarrassing fashion recently, both make good money too, Pavlik does not do that anymore, ofcourse he's chasing gold.
What I'm TRYING to tell you is that Froch Ward has to talk with Showtime about their next fight, not doing it on their own. Showtime still has an option on the winner. And Kessler should grow a pair and fight Bute after Stieglitz.
Showtime is not a promotor/organisation, they don't make fights, they decide whether or not to put that specific fight on their cable network. Seeing as Kessler still has a name on Showtime, I doubt they would deny a unification bout of three belts on their network.
