The Bute-Johnson card has become pretty good. Not a big semi-final but a deep undercard. Pier-Olivier Côté (an excellent prospect vs Jorge Luis Teron for the IBF Inter continental title, Allan Green will face Sébastien Demers, a local guy who fought Arthur Abraham a couple of years ago. Paul Molitor vs Sébastien Gauthier, Kevin Bizier, a 15-0 Quebec fighter who's coming slowly but surely towards the international level. That's a change from the usual undercards, featuring 3 local guys vs 3 Argentinian journeymen. I'd like to see Renan St-Juste too. He is 39 years old. He's a powerful southpaw so it's hard for him to get a chance. He was supposed to get a shot at Stieglitz but Sauerland managed to get Kessler the WBO mandatory and now St-Juste is stucked with... nothing.
Laffie the next episode must air within a week span. Or has it been already ? Cuz I found this: This content is protected
I saw that photoshoot but nothing more has came out. Usually, we hear about Bute's training about one month prior to the fight. That's pretty soon... I expect that Montreal and Quebec city reporters will be there this week, so we'll have something to read and see.
http://www.8countnews.com/news/125/ARTICLE/4566/2011-09-28.html Some reading from Glen Johnson. This guy is class.
Thanks for the link. Yeah, great guy and I like he is really looking for a win, KO nonetheless. For sure he could lie, but some might just want to take a check, but Johnson is a real warrior and he will give it all. I like the way he talks about the judges too. He got a couple of wrong decision against him during his career and still he doesnt feel that the venue have everything to do with it. Some people here should read this: This content is protected
A Montreal radio reporter just flew to Florida today. He'll go to both Bute and Johnson's camps. We'll have some news to read pretty soon.
Wasnt easy to read anyway, I should have changed it when I first post it. Anyway, when Johnson himself saying that he is confident that the venue is not a factor, I hope that the talk about Bute having hometown decisions and such will stop.
I think that the judges in montreal are fair compare from what we see in Germany and in the US , it's good that someone like GJ notice it. If it was Froch talking he would have said there's no way you can get a fair decision here that he want to fight Calzaghe that direll his a coward and bla, bla, bla!
