    Bute took the short money in his last two fights to get this title. Why should he give Green a payday? It's Bute's time to make some money. If Green wants the title he has to make sacrificies. If all he want's is money then he can have his fight with Andre Ward.

    I mean, if Green really wanted to fight Bute, he wouldn't be that worried about the purse, if he thought he could beat him. So, if he wanted to avoid fighting Bute because he didn't think he could beat him, he wouldn't be talking about money; he would be calling Bute out whilst making unrealistic proposals about location and terms, for example. However, as you say, it doesn't seem that Green is avoiding Bute; he just doesn't seem to fancy it for now, which is different.

    I agree. If Green wants the title, he has to take whatever he gets, like Bute did, for example. I just don't think Green wants the shot at Bute, though, but not because he is avoiding him; it's most likely that he feels that this is not the best time for him...who knows?

    Exactly, I'm not blaming him. He is being offered 200 000$ to fight Andre Ward on HBO. A fight he will most likely win.

    On the other hand he is being offered half that for a fight he will most likely lose.

    One of these fights could make you a world champion. The other could make you richer.

    If Bute picks Joppy, he's taking a step back and wasting his time when he should be stepping it up and progressing. WTF, ****in Joppy who got turned into an elephant man by hopkins? Yo that Joppy has been finished for quite a while now and he has no businesss being in the ring with Bute.

    Bute and his team are cowards if they pick joppy. He's probably scared of Green.
