Froch's jab is probably his best weapon but I think Bute can neutralize that with his footwork, step outside of his jab.
Good point ! I think his trainer Larouche has said in the past that Bute thinks too much at times in the ring instead of simply letting his hands go.
For Ward I think Bute should do exercises that improves your reactions, and make that jab with more snap on it also quicker withdraw, basically raising his already good jab to a whole 'nother level.
Here's an interview with Bute and Larouche . Not saying too much about Bute - Froch , but interesting. http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/interview-with-lucian-bute-and-trainer-stephan-larouche/
i agree with Beastside, Glen is the sparring partner needed to prepare him for Ward due to his good/great inside fighting plus the experience they already share in the ring; Glen will try new stuff in their sparring sessions. Let's not forget the reason Glen didn't get inside Bute: the jab wasn't keeping Bute on the spot, plus any atempt of charging in would've been severly punished with a counter. Look at Magee, Bute threw uppercuts when he felt Magee was coming in, he even missed a few. So , Ward may have the speed but if the jab won't land efficiently (and Bute moves his head) he wont risk coming inside as Bute already knows he might try that. And another thing , while Ward came inside Froch and Kessler (finding that easy since both were static and already beaten to the punch) both Kessler and Froch accepted the challange and started trying to push him back; they fought under Ward's rules. Now Bute must not accept going in Ward's territory; trying to match him at his own game with be a mistake. Bute in not Froch or Kessler, he can jump back, fight like a matador and he can punish with severe bodyshots.
Thanks. :good " He came ringside, where we provided him a great seat to see Lucian from close, close sight and I think he didnt like what he was seeing. This content is protected
Actually around round 5 of the Magee fight, Kessler is completely thinking out loud on the mic - "Get out of there, Magee... ooh..."
froch beats bute less bute keeps taking his roids. I think the roids are hard to detect in canada which is why he doesn't fight away from home.
Article from http://www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/bo...ucian-bute-pret-a-se-battre-en-angleterre.php Sorry for the google translation: After delivering 30 professional fights, for almost all in Quebec, Lucian Bute concludes that the time has come for him to fight abroad. The IBF super middleweight (168 pounds) is willing to go to England to defend his belt against Carl Froch. "I will go there. I think with all the experience I have now, it's time for me to go and fight abroad, Bute said in an interview with the site specializes Boxing Insider published Tuesday. I know it will not be easy, but I think I have, psychologically, strength and experience to do so. " Discussions are still taking place between the developer of Lucian Bute, InterBox, and that of Carl Froch for the organization of a fight in the spring. Although little information is on the negotiations, it seems that the duel would take place in England on 12 or May 26 "I know the feeling we have to fight in front of 15,000 fans, while the opponent has only 100, Bute continued. Now, I guess, if I go to Nottingham, it would be 15,000 spectators against me, and 100 with me. I will feel how it is being away from home. "
hmm, Canada is the toughest place to get away with roids not sure where you get your info. Also what eveidence do you have to come up with that? Just because Bute is fast or because he has a hard punch? If anyone should be suspected of roids is Adonis Stevenson, the guy is a beast
