So basically Lucian admitted that his team rejected to take part in the S6 ? :think I thought they weren't invited ? :think

The doubt has vanished, the first one is indeed closer to the press conference reality. All he said was he was under contract with Andrade when the tournament began. He didn't say he was invited. Bute's english is not very accurate.
i think it's fair to assume that at one time, when the project was in the making, Bute's name came up. And don't forget that at the time the tournament started, the only match-up between the six participants that could've been higher regarded at SMW than Bute-Andrade, was Kessler - Froch; and that's a fact.
His French doesn't sound very classy neither. Linguistic issues aside, I think the whole issue was clearly settled by J. Bedard in the press conference extract. Around 06:39 he says: Unfortunately, we were not invited at the tournament that Showtime put on two years ago, then at 07:45 he states: I received as a promoter in the past 8 years since I'm the promoter of Lucian Bute, only two offers from other promoters. The first one we had was 3 years ago from Mick Hennessy to fight Carl in Nottingham; at that time Lucian was more focused on fighting Librado Andrade because he had a bad experience at the [...] first fight at the end and he want[ed] to put the record straight, which he did. And now we received the second offer which finally arrived two weeks ago [...] I can't find any particular reason to doubt about what Bedard said (it is consistent with Hershman's statement and previous well-translated Bute declarations).
