Those English guys picking Froch.:yep Froch will attack and just get ripped. There is no way he will block that uppercut all night, or maybe even for a few rounds.

 

Steve Collins (the guy in white) is kind of a joke when it comes to predictions. I remember him saying he would have KO'd a prime RJJ and that he was ducked by him.:tired

 

Froch is impressed by Bute size and he ask him how tall he is in that vid.

 

Nothing wrong with a fighter saying he'd knock another fighter out. That's what they're supposed to say. What did you expect him to say? That RJJ would destroy him? lol

He also didn't say anything idiotic. It's true Bute keeps his hands low, something Carl could exploit. Also true that Bute likes to stalks his opponents. Even gave Bute credit saying he might be #1 SMW. Another said it was a pick em' fight

 

I know, that may not have been the best example.

I remember seeing him in a few 90's interviews where almost all his predictions were biased towards British fighters, like Benn would beat RJJ, Bruno would outbox Tyson in the rematch, and so on.:roll:

Nice video. I think Collins is very respectful. It's a fair opinion based on facts. My opinion is based on other facts so I don't agree with him.

I like the way they put Froch as a friendly and close to the people person, casually sitting outside the ring, as Bute is interviewed on a chair, giving an impression of being distant. That's ok with me. The video is made for English people. Froch is the good man, Bute the vilain. Well, the vilain will prevail.

Wrong - Bute can defend better than Froch wit hands up when his opponent is dangerous . Look please at Bute - Jhonson fight , no low hands and exceptional defence . Plus Bute superior body defensive movement ...

 

Bute does drop his hands, usually when he finishes a combo or before throwing one. Even in the Johnson fight he did that from time to time. Not saying Froch would win, but it's something he can exploit. That's a point the analyst raised and it's a valid one. The other point was Bute stalking his opponent.

Collins didn't talk about anything else, so no point talking about about defensive movement since this isn't my analysis. I don't want to blast the guy based on that video. He raised good points, he just omitted to consider other factors.
