    I am not sure whether Hanshaw was in negotiations with InterBox for the February fight, but if he was, he didn't want it, because they went for Joppy, who is even worse, now.

    I don't want to see Hanshaw in summer. He isn't good enough. Neither is Zuniga, I'm afraid.

    I am sure Bute sparrs with Diaconu too! Diaconu, especially, would benefit a lot from sparring with Bute in preparation for Dawson, if he gets that far.

    St-Juste will officially be on the Bute-Joppy undercard which is gonna make it a very good one, at least better then the one we had last October.

    First fight with Interbox for St-Juste after he signed with them this week. This fight with Said will give us the possibility to compare him to Sébastien Demers.


    Victor Lupo will try to bounce back of his first career lost, a majority decision against Paul Clavette suferred a few months back. This fight will be at Welterweight while the Clavette fight was at Middleweight.

    Finally, big step up for Baha Laham who will face a dangerous oponnent in Gomez, a fighter who gave trouble to Benoit Gauder when they fought.

    Bute was on the most popular talkshow in Canada, Tout le monde en parle, last night. Hopefully it will show up on youtube at some point.

    Pff Julio is sooooo overrated.

    I hate CBC. They schedule the fights at like 2 am. At least we get to see some live fights at TSN from time to time like we did with Quintana-Williams.

    But yea i saw the show and it was great. Funny but not too much, just enough.

    Andrade moves to Montreal to train with Howard Grant; hopes to get shot at Bute after Stieglitz eliminator

    Andrade: "We’d like to fight Bute if he gives us the opportunity. We’ll do what we have to do, fight an elimination or anything. I’m not afraid of fighting anybody, but I’m not one to be calling out anybody. I just prepare for my fights and if anybody wants to give me a chance, I’ll take it."

    Basically it says the 3 judges we're named by the IBF.

    Benoit Roussel (Canada)
    Nelson Vasquez (Puerto Rico)
    Frank Adams (USA)

    10000 tickets were sold so far. Apparently they are ahead of the Bute-Berrio fight with two weeks left before the fight. The Bute-Berrio fight sold 13500 tickets!

    They also say Gaudet and JoJo Dan will fight on the undercard of Diaconu-TBA in Romania on March 29th.

    There is a purse bid schedule for the Andrade-Stieglitz fight on feb. 19th. The winner gets a shot a Bute.
