What you saw in the Grachev fight was Bute planting himself in dangerous positions (against the ropes and corners) for defensive training purposes. He was told to endure that and get comfortable being attacked in that manner.

 

I think stylistically, Grachev was a tough match-up for Bute....

Pascal fights at a rate Bute will be able to control and manage for the most part

The supposedly "new" Pascal is just a version that paces himself better... he can explode but he also fatigues fast. So now he slow-rolls and picks up activity in the mid rounds thru the late. The usual stamina problem from being over-muscled. AKA Authur Abraham in the SuperMids... easy to steal the first 4-5 rounds by boxing him from distance cuz he's gotta save up his stamina to close the fight

 

Bute needs to hit Pascal with an uppercut early inside. Pascal comes very wide open and if Pascal wastes that energy Bute wins.

The more I think the more I believe it's Bute's fight to lose. Just keep your ****ing right hand up.. The left hook over top of Bute's right killed him against froch. Every damned time.

 

Who keeps bringing this sunken battle ship back up atsch

 

Personally, I have a strong feeling that Pascal won't have much stamina problems in this fight. He will be very well prepared!

Huge test for Bute, very huge! The pressure is really on, but Bute is really on also!

He wants this win more then Pascal! Then to top it off, he'll have his wedding in the summer in Romania.

 

What I don't ****ing get is why Pascal is not even rated top 10 atsch

A draw, a Win and a loss against the #1 guys at the weight and he is dropped?

I don't agree with many ratings. I stopped considering ratings a long time ago actually.

 

I still think the Froch return is more dangerous than Ward and Pascal even.

 

Froch is Bute's worst matched opponent. I have to admit, I hold a grudge on Ward for not fighting Bute when it was time!

 

I like Ward as well. I gave Dawson NO chance in their fight. Dawson has pillow hands. at least Lu can hit.

 

I'm interested to see Bute's performance at 175!

* And I'm sure sparring with Bogdan Dinu hasn't helped him in any way!!!

 

Bute looked so thin at 168 :-( I hope 175 helps him. Pascal is the test. :bute :happy
