Said with a lot of affection, you are hallucinating here Decebal. :D Both promoters hire anyone of the officials here. In fact, GYM gives them more job.

It's an interesting thing though. Would it be better to have 4 neutral officials? I don't think they'll do that and I don't know if something has been negotiated already in their contract.

Exactly what I was saying. The promoters hire the officials and in this case, the promoters and maybe even the fighters hope that there will be a rematch. If the fight is too onesided, at least on paper, they won't sell a rematch easily. So... you do the maths!;)

I heard a rumor from one of the peoples that are close to Bute's team. He told me that Bute and Larouche are gonna prepare in such way so he'll have a high work-rate, a high output of punches for the Pascal match.

What do you guys think? Is it credible ?

Larouche has been saying for a while that Bute doesn't let his hands go.

Laffie, Pascal is way more faster than anything Bute has ever seen. For the first five rounds anyway.

Plus, Bute chin is so so. Lotto Quebec has it right favoring Pascal. Pascal is a real warrior. He fought a world champion with a broken shoulder. There is almost no other warrior like him in boxing.

I am still cheering for Bute, Pascal trash talking mighy give him the first round like he said, but people will cheer for the more respecting person.

So many variables in this fight. So many outcomes to this...... everyone has their own opinion, and to each his own. If you bet heavy, place your bets... if you don't, then politic all you want (Dece bel) till the outcome.

Personally, this fight can go 50/50. Bute can handle Pascal if his mindset is on point. And you can discuss all you want but it pretty much ends at that in terms of Bute!

Bute will be ready to fire back/body counter quickly, retreat if in a dangerous position, and footwork his way around Pascal's spontaneous unbalanced all out swings which do pose a great threat.

They both have intelligence/surveillance of each other’s training methods and focus points...(MTL = small boxing community scene). Only threat to this is Pascal in regards to substances, and internal strategic corruption in regards to $ of course.

Bute was always superior to Pascal because Pascal's dedication and work rate were slack. But at this point, they both meet at a valuable time in their lives.

    May the best man win!

Laffie, what Dece says makes perfect sense.Of course a thinking like this can easily be labeled as paranoia. But think about this:instead having a UD with 9-3. 8-4, 9-3 would`nt be more reasonable to have the same fight scored UD 7-5, 6-5-1, 7-5 or even a MD ?Would`t be this a potential official base for a rematch? The fans of anyone if loser would agree to a rematch, no matter clear was the result. So considering all sides would win from a rematch...

If Quebec officials were bought, I would immediately stop going to any boxing gala. Decebal's scenario can look ok but it would be a short term thing: one other big fight, with the risk of losing everything if it gets to the public.

As far as I know both promoters, they won't do that.

You're right about Pascal's speed but Hopkins proved that skills could annihilate it.

Any footages of Bute training? I'm looking forward to see him again, cannot blame him for not being in exciting fights & taking the hardest fights. Yeah Pascal has a lot of technical flaws and his easy to hit. Bute has to take advantage of that and make him pay every time Pascal misses, but like i said before, i do question Bute's boxing skill at this level. Pascal has proved himself at A-level against Froch, Bhop & Dawson. Where Bute got annihilated when he entered the big stage. I'm exicitied to see how Bute reacts, if he comes under pressure from the beginning, because we know that Pascal has bad stamina, so he might just have to survive early and then take over at the middle / end of the fight, to win a decision.

And Pascal is not even close of RJJ but he'll try to learn his way to fight southpaws.

    See the point?
