What is this rumour that Bute is fighting Larsen in Denmark in May? Is this really true? Has it been agreed? Done and dusted?:huh http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1488763&postcount=16
Looks like Sauerland will organise Bute v. Larsen in Copenhagen on the 17th of May: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1488291&postcount=1 Good fight for Bute!:good Mads Larsen to fight Thompson on Arthur Abraham undercard this Saturday Mads Larsen will return to the ring on March 29 when he takes on Ross Thompson on the Abraham undercard in Kiel. The former European super-middleweight champion is eager to gain some further ring experience to put himself into a position for a title fight later this year. “I have been practicing very hard and look forward to getting back into the ring,” Larsen said. “It is my goal to fight for a title this year and I have to stay in shape..” It will be Larsen´s fifth fight since his comeback last May. In October, the Golden Boy (49-2, 37 KOs) saw off Emiliano Cayetano after defeating Nader Hamdan, Hector Javier Velazco and Vasily Andriyanov. “Kiel is not far from Denmark, so I am sure there will be many Danish fans coming over. That will be an additional motivation – it will be like a home match for me.” 34-year-old veteran Ross Thompson (26-11, 16 KOs), who has fought opponents like Kelly Pavlik and Jeff Lacy, has been in Germany sparring with European middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester. ================================================================ So, after Larsen beats Thompson, Bute is fighting him next! Thompson is a bum though!
Any news about the Larsen fight? Will it take place in Romania? Any news about the negotiations with Interbox for signing another two-year contract? What is going on?:huh
There was a radio show on CKAC Sports yesterday and the topic was boxing. I called to ask about a potential fight with Larsen in Denmark and both the host of the show and Sébastien Gauthier, a boxer for Interbox, seems to say that yes, Larsen is in the picture. But they don't think it will be in Denmark, so I guess it could be in Romania. Then again, The Shark is fighting there on April 19th, so can this fight also be in Romania or it will take place on Friday May 23rd at Bell Center in Montreal? We should find out soon...
Larouche is always claming that it won't be a problem and Lucian also said that he is very happy working and living in Montreal. But we did not heard of a signature yet...
The IBF is not in a hurry to publish its ratings for April. I think we'll hear some news of Bute soon after it comes out.
