I'm sure of it,if Joe gets passed Roy,he might retire or fight Pavlik and then retire so they will not cross paths in the ring
Well since they are not going to fight. Who would win the dream fight? and what do you think of people calling Bute a "poor man's Calzaghe"?
I would slightly favor Calzaghe with his outrageous workrate but Bute could hurt him to the body, slow him down and make it interesting, land cleaner shots. It's hard to say but I would favor Calzaghe. What do you mean ''poor man's Calzaghe''?Never heard of it?
You've never heard people call Bute a "poor man's version of Calzaghe"? I've heard it a couple of times.
Only things Calzagha and Bute have in common are that they're both SMWs, SPs, fast, good chin, good movement. Otherwise, they're completely different: Calzaghe stands square, goes forward and flurries, Bute is a defensive counter-puncher with a good punch, who keeps his lead hand low. Calzaghe is much more aggressive than Bute, and comes to fight more. He always takes risks and pushes opponents into making mistakes; Bute doesn't, he tries to limit risks as much as possible and take advantage of whatever mistakes his opponents make...nah, they're very different. The comparison flatters Bute but it also decieves.
I'll take your word for it. You have watched Bute more than I have and I hope Bute has a good career. There are some promising up and comers that are SMW's and hopefully we'll see them head off some time in the near future and create a few classics.
