I know in hockey, a goaler can lose up to 8 pounds in one single game. I think he will lose 5 or 6 pounds till the day befor the weight-in. Then, let's say 7 pounds with a good training" That leaves 2 or 3 pounds more to lose.
An athlete can lose over 10lbs of water during a workout. F1 drivers, hockey goalies, etc... They all do it.
"WBO super middleweight champion Denis Inkin is likely to defend the title in February of next year against stablemate Karoly Balzsay." "Sauerland Event have different plans for Larsen though and they all involve a shot at a world title either against IBF ruler Lucian Bute should he beat Librado Andrade or move in on WBA king Mikkel Kessler, should he beat Danilo Haussler, which he is very likely to do." This content is protected ...so, here it is, Maxime, confirmation that Sauerland are still lining up Larsen for a shot at Bute.:good
I was hoping it would be someone else. (Like Tsypko for exemple). I heard Larouche said Larsen wasn't in the plans anymore. :huh
The story with Tsypko was that he would fight an eliminator to determine the next mandatory challenger to the IBF title. Next mandatory is due towards the end of July 2009. I think Larsen was supposed to be a voluntary defence, forced upon Bute, if he beats Andrade, by Sauerland, according to that contract Interbox signed for the Berrio fight. If Bute beats Andrade, he could fight Larsen in March and then Tsypko in July. Doesn't sound great, does it? Let's see him get over Andrade first, Maxime.
p.s. how much does the PPV cost, in Montreal, for the Bute fight? The cheapest ticket you can buy in the Bell Centre is $CAD 50.
I'm all aware of that contract. What I'm saying his Larouche mentionned during a press conference during the press tour for Bute-Andrade that Larsen's name wasn't on the table anymore and it would be someone else. That's why I'm surprised to see Larsen's name popup again.
