Weird part is the ref is a personally friend of Andrade's trainer. Hard to think he could be paid off. :huh One thing I find kind of frustrating is the inaccurate reports being cut/pasted in the medias. Everywhere they keep saying Bute barely got up after a long count that was close to 24 seconds. Bute was up at the count of 6. They are also reporting that Andrade did not get out of his corner when in fact he was almost half way across the ring. I know the US tv didn't show that but they showed it on the Canadian PPV. Now this does not mean I agree with the way the fight was handle or the result. But if we're gonna have a debate about it. It would be nice to have accurate facts.
The referee was right not to stop the fight when Bute was out on his feet because although he could no longer defend himself, Andrade didn't have enough to hurt him too much. Remember that Bute had not taken a fifth as many punches as Andrade had, by that point. Wth Andrade dog tired too, he couldn'thave hurt him that much. Wright waited for Bute to get knocked down, which happened more as a result of exhaustion than a hard punch. It proved the right choice, from the referee because Bute got up and beat the count, and was fine afterwards! ...Andrade was NOT robbed. You don't take a title away from a Champion who has dominated 9 rounds to 2, without him getting knocked down!
Wright was not payed off and he wasn't that pro Bute either. He let Andrade get away with going in with his head on the inside, he let him use his elbows, he let him throw Bute across the ring repeatedly...how many warnings was Andrade given for all of that? How many points taken off? One warning for use of the head and one for using his elbows and no points taken off. Bute was warned twice for clinching, though. In the last roun, when Bute was trying to hold on for dear life, the ref was breaking up the clinches to allow Bute to lose his balance and Andrade to hit him clean...! How is that being pro-Bute? You can tell me that I am mad, but I don't think the referee did anything so wrong at all. I think he didn't have a great night, and he could have been a bit firmer to both fighters, but he didn't favour anyone too much. :good
:rofl :rofl :rofl Jesus Christ.. you tried so extra hard to make everyone think you're objective the day after the fight, then you say something as ridiculous and biased as this? He knows Bute would get his ass beaten much easier and faster in a rematch, so he would never take the bet. Bute showed some impressive heart, but he is lucky as hell that he was getting help from the ref all night and was ultimately saved by him. And Decebal saying "The referee was right not to stop the fight when Bute was out on his feet because although he could no longer defend himself, Andrade didn't have enough to hurt him too much." is probably the dumbest serious thing I've ever seen somebody post on this forum. This guy's brain operates in funny ways. Any Bute fans that agree with what he says or think that the ref wasn't very biased are either complete nuthugging idiots or don't want to admit what happened because they're embarrassed. Decebal could most likely read this, but if he can't, please somebody let him know that I would love a ban bet for Bute-Andrade II if it happens in 2009. Or even a 1 year off bet for him and ban for me.. doesn't matter. Just want to get something fun going on here.
What he said is true, nothing wrong about it.Bute would school him in the rematch..AGAIN if it's in Romania,California,Uganda or Pluto. He beat the count, get over it

If you really think Froch had a better opposition than Bute, you're hard to follow. Tell me Froch would ko Bute, something. But that Tetesvosyan was a top 10? Are you talking of a top ten of the division or top ten of an association? Froch's poor oposition is one of the reason s many people think he's overrated. And you take that weakness as an asset. Bizarre.
