Gervonta Davis was gifted a decision against Cruz.

Devin Haney has been exposes for having a glass jaw and going the distance w/ the shell of Gamboa.

Teofimo Lopez got beat the F up by Kambosos.

Ryan Garcia looked one dimensional and couldn't take out a nobody who looked like he was 3 divisions smaller.

Lomachenko and Kambosos are the last men standing.

Nothing got exposed last night, all we got was a very annoying reminder that spoilers who come to survive but not win, are hard to land clean on and hard to knock out. But we did find out Ryan had a hell of a gas tank, and can set a relentless pace, even when rusty and coming off of a year long layoff. Oh yeah, and that some "no name" fighters are teak tough and hard to KO, like Aran Dipaen.

Kambosos is fighting Haney. Let's see that fight before declaring who is the last man standing. Have a bit of patience, you're like a teenager on prom night.

Not a problem for Artur Beterbiev, even when he's 37 and chasing down a slick moving southpaw who's running away the entire time.

I totally agree with your point, but if you want to establish yourself as an elite fighter you need to cut off that ring and hammer him until he's finished.

Ryan was gassing after throwing an average of 50 punches a round against somebody who posed no threat, and gave him no issues. How is that showing a great gas tank?

Garcia is talented but has alot of flaws and questionable heart. It will be interesting seeing his career unfold.

I think the engine/ gas tank was the only impressive thing from Ryan last night.

The amount of holding he had to endure was beyond excessive. Had he used his jab more this fight would of ended around the 9th or 10th. Kid has power but just had a poor plan last night with an opponent who was not going to stop.

Still has that chin high in the air and goes back too straight. He needs to fix that before he gets KTFO.

I agree. Against better fighters he will have get dropped or get stopped if keeps it up.

Yeah, and he doesn't move that head very much so the chin is in the same place all the time. And he either doesn't have a job
or forgot to use it all night.

Also....he barely sweat last night. Hardly a sheen of sweat on his body. Was he so dehydrated or did he just not rehydrate properly
    after the weigh-in?

I agree that he has some excuses for last night...long layoff plus an uncooperative opponent. But there are flaws for sure. His best asset is
    (are) very fast hands.

He's very lucky he's not in a punchers weight class. Pro Lightweights can hit very hard compared to the average man, but they're still just small men. No way that chin out in the air thing would fly at 160 and higher.

Ryan Garcia looked TERRIBLE last night. He literally had one dimension and lacked creativity and punch selection in opening up his opponents. The speed looked great, though.

And no, it's not at all like Aran Dipaen. Inoue was clearly getting rounds in and was playing around a bit (he threw at least 3 sets of triple left uppercuts, for example). And when he turned it up, he bloodied him and got him out of there. Can you imagine if Inoue had the size advantage against Diapen that Ryan enjoyed over Tagoe? Inoue might have literally killed Dipaen.

PS: I like Ryan Garcia, but he's so far falling short of his hype (albeit his self created hype).

Punch selction I agree was an issue. I noted in another thread that Tagoe, a much smaller man, was ducking low when garcia threw and missed a right hand. How about a left uppercut while Tagoe's head was down. Could have been very effective. I didn't hear Goosen
call for an uppercut although he did ask for more jabs, which Garcia ignored.

I'll give Garcia a passing grade due to the long layoff and his opponent being the African Augustus Burton.

I think he should transition to women's boxing

They do say he's the next ODH… So why not
