Video analysis of the fight actually shows that the scores were too generous to Pacquaio. To hit, and not be hit. In most rounds, Bradley out landed Pacquaio by a significant margin. Pacquaio's connect rate was horrible, due to not being able to hit a moving target. Bradley did great body work, and damn near all of his scoring punches to the head got no mention from the HBO team, who went out of their way to try and convince the viewer that Pac's two power shots he was landing per round, should outweight Bradley's work rate and much higher number of scoring shots in rounds. Taking HBO's bias out of the equation when analyzing the video, and using video review tools, this whole fiasco about a Pacman robbery is shown to be nothing but rubbish.

Congratulations to Timothy Bradley for defeating the vaunted Pacman, somewhat easily.

 

There was no boxing lesson from either guy, there was one round that Bradley ekked out to get the nod, its Mannys fault he made the choice to fight a lazy fight he gave away too many rounds.

I am sorry but to me it is what it is, the problem with Boxing today is not the judges not the promoters not the fighters its the fans.

We expect too much out of these guys especially when you have a title fight we in our minds have this concept that you must "Take the title" that you must not only take it but it must be in dominant fashion especially against a fighter who has been in the top ten P4P Ratings for as long as Manny has.

The reality alls a fighter has to do to win is show the judges 7 rounds he won doesnt matter how close or dominant if he has 7 rounds in the bag and there are no 10-8 rounds he wins the fight doesnt have to be dominant doesnt have to be "take the title" its simple math its not about Punch Stats none of that nor is it about Popular opinion its about convincing three judges ring side that you won enough rounds.

 

Through my video analysis of the fight. I gave Bradley rounds, 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 11, and 12.

I had 3, 7, and round 9 as debatable.

I had rounds 5 and 6 as the only clear Pac rounds.

Rounds were given based on scoring punches landed during the round. Taking into account shots that looked especially hard and powerful as well. Bradley simply outlanded Pacquaio by a significant margin in the majority of the rounds. You can't win a round by landing a couple showy shots, while the opponent has a significant connect advantage on you in that round.
