    Guts and glory

SJS19 is delighted to bring his second show of the year to Madison Square Garden! The Big Apple is where fighters come to prove themselves, and trust us; you'll see stars tonight.

Main event : Victor Ortiz vs Luis Carlos Abregu (147lbs)

Vicious Victor Ortiz is fresh off his unanimous decision over tough DeMarcus Corley, and tonight; he's gunning for a stoppage! Ortiz has fight ending power in both hands, and bad intentions here. Luis Carlos Abregu has only ever lost one fight, to elite level Timothy Bradley, so Ortiz plans on making a dramatic statement in what should be his last fight before another world title shot.

Luis Carlos Abregu is no joke. Defeated only once in thirty professional contests; this Welterweight contender plans on spoiling the party tonight and establishing his own Championship credentials. Both fighters have promised this fight won't go the distance! Fireworks garunteed...

Co - Feature : Zab 'Super' Judah vs Ali 'Rush hour' Funeka (140lbs)

    WBF Light Welterweight Championship.

Zab Judah returns to Madison Square Garden! Brooklyn supports it's own, and Judah plans on putting on a show. Perhaps the greatest pure talent in the fight game, Zab Judah knows that an impressive win here should boost him into position to once again challenge for a world title. After beating tough Lee McAlister in his last fight, Judah seeks to go one better, and knock out his Championship calibure opponent. Home town fans deserve a home town show, don't blink.

Ali Funeka holds the WBF 140lbs title and has 30 career wins, 25 of which are by knockout. The South African banger is no walk over for anybody. After suffering a draw with undefeated Joan Guzman last year, Funeka seeks to return to the title picture. Both men have everything to lose here, meaning you can expect passion and desire, as well as phenomenal skills.

Main Card bout : 'Sugar' Shane Mosley vs 'Magic' Matthew Hatton

Boxing fans around the world are familiar with All time great and certain Hall of famer 'Sugar' Shane Mosley. Tonight he seeks to get his career back on track. The 3 weight multiple time world title vetran seeks one last run in his legendary career, and has signed with EPP to ensure he gets it. Still blessed with fantastic handspeed and concussive punching power, Mosley looks to take the first step on his road to redemption tonight. He aims to impress, and as we've seen so many times; that usually leads to one hell of a fight.

'Magic' Matthew Hatton has travled to the U.S.A fully aware of two things. Firstly he has the chance to aquire the greatest win of his career, and secondly the oppertunity is there, to go down as the man who ended the career of one of the greatest Boxers we have ever seen. Point being that Matthew Hatton is motivated and here to win. This is his Kostya Tsyu. As we saw with brother Ricky in Manchester all those years ago, a Hatton is never to be taken lightly.

Opening bout : Mauricio Herrera vs Curtis Woodhouse

Fans and critics are in agreement, Herrera is a star on the rise. This California native looked phenomenal last time out in stopping the tough and experianced Edgar Gabejan in 8 one sided rounds. Tonight he seeks to continue his in ring education, knowing full well that a fight with Joseito Lopez could be his grand prize.

Curtis Woodhouse has a fascinating story. A natrual athlete, Woodhouse was an established top class soccer player in England, before quiting his well paid job for his passion; the rough world of professional Boxing. So far he has justified himself and tonight; he attempts to boost his career to the next level, by destroying one of the sweet science's brightest stars.
