We have always done well as a country when it comes to producing boxers around middleweight/super middleweight, its good to see the tradition will carry on.

Who on the list do you think will go on to the world scene?

Lots of good young talent there...and it's part of the reason I'm refusing to get behind the Eubank hype, he looks very normal in a division that looks very stiff.

Is he really that special? I've seen him fight a few times against Irish opponents, Eamonn O'Kane, Jason Quigley and Darren O'Neill. And hes lost everytime. Seems to be a sore loser aswell.

His style will suit the Pro's more then the Am's IMO.

I agree though, I don't see him as anything special.

Cayzer doesn't look anything special. Obviously it is very early days, but sometimes guys like Eubank Jr just draw more flack due to no fault of their own and the situation they are in. Due to his Dad and the hype people are being very critical.

But Cayzer for example looks very easy to hit, a bit wild when he starts throwing power shots and his power...well it looks okay but nothing special. Granted I am going off two fights, but there was certainly nothing in those two fights that made me sit back and think "wow he could be something". But it is good that we have a nice group of young fighters coming through regardless of how far they all end up going.

Only fighter I will be tracking out of that list of prospects is Eubank Jr. I don't mind the gimmicks, I'm just happy to see someone come in shape, look for the finish and appear to be genuinely working on his skills while developing relevant experience i.e. undefeated fighter who comes to fight, 6 rounds etc

Bjs, Eubank Jr, Ryder and Ashton are decent hopefully they'll fight each other unlike the current crop

'its like Eubank, bennett and Watson all over again!'

I think you guys missed out Kerry Hope, he's had a bit of a slow start but beating Proska surely means he's one of our best ones. (Edit Hope is Welsh)

I think Heffron looks to have the best style and I think will go the furthest, Eubank Jnr has the best jab and offensive arsenal, but he seems a bit unsure of himself in the ring. He's been matched reasonably toughly and gets caught a bit.

I'd love to see billy joe Vs John Ryder

  12. I like the look of Murderous Mark Heffron.

Needs a bit of work on his defence like all Manc fighters but he's got plenty in his fists, and is good to watch.

Yes thats the same Ryan Aston he trains at the gym I go to and his coach paul gough runs the sparring. He is always in terrific shape and has really got his nutrition down.

Have a look at a clip of him sparring Grzegorz Proksa in poland before their fights in march.

At the moment though I dont think he should go near Billy Joe Saunders.

I think that fight will happen later down the line maybe at Euro/world level.

Dunno about Ogogo's chin, he's been dropped a lot.
