The longer the fight goes on, the higher the chance of Paulie needing another haircut mid-fight.

 

I had a chat with a friend of mine who was a sparring partner of Ricky a few years ago.. today in the gym, he thought Malignaggi by decision but I'd go for Hatton tko 9 !

 

I don't think Hatton will knock out Malignaggi... I was ringside for the Cotto fight, and I saw Paulie take an unbelievable beating while being competitive...

I know that wasn't Cotto at his best, and that Hatton fights a bit of a different style, but I can't see him stopping Paulie.

I have Paulie by close SD, but could see Hatton winning as well. No clear cut choice for me, but I don't see anyone getting knocked out.

 

If anyone is scoring a stoppage it is Ricky Hatton because he can afford to take more chances cuz of Paulie's lack of power but don't count on it. Hatton is no windmill anymore. In fact, he's not much of anything, just a beatable fighter with a huge fanbase. Like I said in a previous post, if Cotto couldn't stop Paulie, Hatton certainly won't. Hatton will, however, most likely win a decision. The poll question becomes inconsequential because the fight is going 12. I still voted though

 

Malifaggi has 2 choices.

1. Run like DLH and Clinch like Bernard, for 12.

2. Engage and it's gonna be like an Italian Titanic against a British Ice Berg.
