GREAT THREAD!! that look was brilliant, wasnt Gomez mouthing off big time at cotto pre fight??!! i love the stiff left jab that cotto dropped Gomez with it just looked so effortless!!! then there was the body shots he landed,fair play to gomez for continuing but he was well out of his league that night!!! bit like when manfredo fought Calzaghe!!

That was really strange, Cotto is usually a gentleman in the ring. I don't remember him behaving like that before or after the Gomez fight. So it is safe to assume Gomez said or did something to irk Cotto. Still doesn't justify the cocky behavior, fighters shouldn't do that ****, because sooner or later you'll get yours.

 

I think Gomez said before the fight that he was a more skillful boxer than Cotto or something like that.Look like cotto didnt took it well.
