i am not disappointed,i didn't expect Haye to throw more than 5 punches a round this looser though he can do valuev...what a *****
David Haye did what he could considering his skills. He didnt have the style or the height to get past Vladimirs defense. If he couldve punched between slips like Joe Frazier, this wouldve been a different and better fight. However, he didnt and it wasnt. Yet I dont see Vladimir as an outstanding fighter. He has no imagination in his combinations and his chin is soft as doctors cotton. His brother is a different animal, he can take it, as well as dish it.
Wlad is a very strong defensive technical fighter. Vitali is the one who in my opinion would have beaten some of the really good fighters like Tyson, Holyfield, or Lewis. Vitali can take a punch, has quicker hands, and is a lot more creative. Let's be honest. Wlad is boring as hell to watch!
i give wlad credit. he did what he needed to do even though it didn't look great. i thought haye fought this same exact fight vs valuev except he got the decision. he talked a great game and fooled his fans into getting him a huge payday. with all the crap he talked, the outcome couldn't have been worse for haye. his flopping, complaining to the ref, lack of effort, and then taking off his shoe to show everyone his toe was completely embarrassing.
I think Wlad has the better offensive tools to beat ATGs than Vitali. Also about Vitali having quicker hands than Wlad. Come on...
Wlad has only a jab and right hand. He can't body punch, throw an uppercut, do you know what the hell you're talking about?

Vitali would have ragdolled Haye and it wouldn't have lasted 12. The proof, who would you rather fight? That's right. You want to fight Vitali. *facepalm*
If you say so.I remember when Wlad was considered the more talented of the two brothers.And more of a threat to Lewis than Vitali.IMO, if Wlad was coached better early in his professional career,learning how to clinch properly and take a punch, he could have easily overshadowed Vitali.But as you might say this is guesswork. Vitali stylistically makes me think of a bigger version of Oscar Bonavena,whom he resembles ,They both used their strength to manhandle opponents,both had good chin and a similar clubbing punching style .That's not a bad thing considering how well Bonavena did against the young Joe Frazier and Ali. Could Vitali have beaten Tyson in his prime 86-88? Possibly.But while Mike's head movement wasn't as unpredictable as the very best version of Frazier he was very difficult to hit clean.He was a great body-puncher and had faster hands than Vitali . A side note: I don't think any fighter would be the favourite against Mike if they chose to square on against him and engage in a spot of two fisted brawling( as Vitali did against Lewis-a fight which people make too big a deal about). Lastly,I'm not sure the Samuel Peter bout is a good indication of how well Vitali would do against Mike.
