    Um that was a law suit. Which hasn't finished once it goes higher.

    Pretty sure its all over and Povetkin was ousted from the WBC rankings.

    What sanctions?

    Wut??? No he was given no sanctions re Wilder fight nor was his ranking taken.

    Remember he was to fight Stiverne?? It was that fight totally separate you are thinking about...

    No sanctions from Wilder fight because they found nothing. Wilder ran so the WBC had no choice but to suspend the fight..

    Its you fan bois who won't believe the truth.

    He got removed from the rankings after he got busted by VADA again, for the fight with Stiverne (who got busted earlier on).
    The winner would fight Wilder, only there never was a winner.
    Povetkin was still the #1 contender after the Wilder debacle.

    The sanction was his cancellation of the first fight.

    They did find something. They found he used meldonium.

    Russian heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin used the substance meldonium after it was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency on Jan. 1, 2016, a jury ruled Monday in U.S. federal court in New York.

    The jury took just 32 minutes to reach a verdict finding that Povetkin used the performance-enhancing drug during the leadup to what was supposed to be a mandatory fight against heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder last May 21 in Moscow.

    The fight was canceled nine days before the fight when a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association-conducted test found that Povetkin had meldonium in his system.

    Is it? That man is a joke and gets treated accordingly. Makes me laugh when he's commentating boxing and describing fighters techniques, since he has no clue about both.

    Yes, assuming Wilder follows through on this fight.

    I'm proud of Donkey again, its been so long.

    Mind you, he is still a incredible jackass for trying to pretend he had proved himself the best.

    Haha you clever. Hey the Polish boxing fans have been very supportive and loyal of this great sport for a very long time. Deontay acknowledging it was cool. Maybe you belong on the Tiddly Winks Forum if you have a problem with my Champ and my people and my sport.

    Deontay is a decent guy. Why cant people see that?
